Lousy warranty staff, hang up on you after an hour and a half on hold twice. They Don’t verify the correct property address is spelled correctly, and wrong zip code.

Service tech showed up to my billing address instead of my project address last week.

Won’t reorder

We had Milgard windows installed 22 years ago. The seal failed on a window. Their promise of a lifetime guarantee is valid. We have a replacement window now. No hassle either.

The. Worst. Service. Ever. Rescheduled for warranty service 6 times (waiting for the 7th) since first appointment in January (after starting the process last November). Just so happens of course it was my glass that was broken in the shed yesterday when the tech went to check. How convenient for Milgard. Tons of excuses - not explanations. Apparently they have me over a barrel. How embarrassing for a company that has been in business since 1962.

Aaaand, still waiting. 1 window made it to the warehouse and passed inspection (but I still don't have it). Two more windows produced apparently failed inspection, again. A 50 year old window manufacturing company can't produce a fairly simple, sealed two-pane window that doesn't regularly fail inspection. It's not even a window that opens! Taking bets on if the 2 missing windows ever make it past inspection, the first window will be lost or broken and they'll have to remake it.

Anyone know who the board of directors are? They need to know this company is messed up. Multiply my experience by thousands.

WOW Milgard service tech was very professional and super fast and efficient! Replaced the fixed panal on my slider in no time! I will always purchase Milgard Windows. They really do stand behind they products. I also think their products are made very well, look the best, and clean up nicely.

Inferior products and Service. I ordered 2 sliding doors and one window to assess their quality before replacing the rest of the house. 2 of the 3 came with a tiny hairline crack in the fixed panel.after 3 months of waiting for 1 "retrofit" window and 2 new construction" sliding doors, I got 2 retrofit and one new construction. I had to pay extra for more modifications to fit the wrong products.the manager was so aggressive on the phone, practically yelling at me, said if we didn't report it in 5 days after delivery then the lifetime warranty is invalid. I answered: "so the lifetime warranty is valid only for 5 days? ". WHAT A JOKE!
Another reason for the rest of the world to avoid American manufacturing which is getting progressively more inferior than the rest of the world. If you care for quality, there are a lot of other better alternative to Milgard.

The installer notified me he was on his way, and arrived at the stated time changed the glass out and was through very quickly. He did a good job and I was very satisfied.

Horrible customer service. Called, placed in que was told I was #5, it would be 15 minutes and I would not lose my line in place, Called 2 hours later and was put on hold for 1 hour 20 minutes. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was placed on hold for 20 minutes.

Terrible customer service even personal service is really bad. Have yet to get a phone call back.

Very helpful and responsive. Six years after out installation they sent someone out to help me with adjusting my doors when I couldn't do it myself. Thank you!

I called on getting my 25+ year old windows fixed because they wouldn't go up and down anymore. I had no idea what great service Milgard had. We had the original order (we are the original owners). The first technician came out and fixed the pully system, but then he noted that the glass inserts actually had failed. He ordered new glass pane and today they were replaced by a second technician. This entire process was very easy. The technicians are knowledgeable, pleasant to work with and very efficient. We are VERY pleased with our Milgard windows.

Milgard technician came yesterday and repaired our brand-new sliding door so we can now close it.

Great service. We have had our windows for over 20 years, and this is the first time we had to call for service. Some of the windows had to be replaced under warranty, and we had no problems.

The technician's were very professional and did a great job in a small amount of time.our windows were originally installed in 2007 and all the seals were broken. The customer experience was excellent with the service department, scheduling replacements and installation. I would highly recommend Milgard to anyone looking to replace their windows!
