I remembered reading about our windows being under a 20 year warranty. Contacted Milgard about two of our homes 19 year-old dual pane windows needing replacing due to discoloration. Went online, completed questionnaire that included the serial #’s of the windows. Was then contacted by a Milgard rep.and was scheduled for a replacement date. Milgard window person showed up on the day/time scheduled and did an excellent job. Good business. End of story.

The window glass was replaced but has scratches! I would have assumed that the glass would have been inspected prior to delivery? Please contact me to schedule the replacement schedule.

Really bummed with customer service. I had 14 windows installed and 5 are leaking. I’ve never heard the line that windows aren’t weatherproof and will leak/let water in when water hits the glass. Apparently there is a drainage feature, but if there is too much water, it will seep in the house and ruin the sill and floors. Instead of helping or coming up with solutions when there is heavy rain, I was given attitude and told to ask the installer. It’s not the install, it’s the windows are taking on water. I received no help. Since when do windows let in water and seep into a house and that’s not a window issue.

My window failed so as requested i filled out a claim online. After a period of time Milgard made an appointment to fix my window and also required if there was anything else they could do to help with any of my other windows. Companies these days don't even respond to requests to fix any problem with their product not to mention if you, as a customer might need help with any of their other products. I am very impressed with Milgard's customer service. So a big shout out to Milgard!

Double French doors weren’t locking. Technicians noticed that the insulation strip running vertically along the edge of one door was loose and needed glue to keep it from slipping down and interfering with the locking mechanism. A few squirts of paste and everything was fine.

This company is organized and easy to work with - I have had my windows for 20 years and had to have one replaced recently - was a great experience. I recommend Milgard all the time for their quality of product and customer service.

We greatly “Thank” Kevin, Patrick and Oleg for the awesome job they did in replacing our very large master bedroom window that was all the more difficult to accomplish because of the large patio cover that is right under our window, making it all the more difficult because it’s not likely strong enough to support the weight of the men. This awesome team, nonetheless, replaced our master bedroom window with great care and professionalism in every facet of the job. But, even that did not surpass the best part of what this team of men did for us. They all were super courteous, polite and very friendly every second of their time while in our home and outside our home. I really couldn’t have expected a better crew of men to do the job that they did. My wife and I were greatly blessed by the Lord that the company Milgard sent this crew to replace our large window.

We've had Milgard windows replaced 2 times in our 17 year old home, and both times, the actual work and service have been great. I'm dinging them 1 star because: 1) customer service response time can be slow; 2) I'm not sure what the typical failure rate of windows is, but to have 3 windows (out of about 36, roughly 8%) with lifetime replacement go bad in 17 years seems a bit high.
