Mimi's Beauty Supply, Salon & Skincare

Normally, I love this place. It’s expensive but I think usually they have top-notch service and supplies. Recently, I purchased some shampoo that did not work out for me which I had to exchange. I returned it without a problem. I had a credit of $37 and in need of a blow dry brush. I was directed to a certain type of brush which I did not object to. I purchased the brush with the credit, went home tried it once on my fine hair and it got stuck in my hair so I decided to return it. I got there today and the girl said you cannot return brushes. It was a different sales person than originally sold me the brush. It did state no returns on the receipt which I did not notice. The gal who originally sold it to me did not mention it wasn’t returnable so I purchased it. If it was a eight dollar brush I wouldn’t care but this was not an eight dollar brush this was a $37 brush! I informed the gal that I would not be returning to the store as a customer. I have already purchased my new brush on Amazon. I truly believe in supporting local business and I was attempting to do so, but I cannot deal with a business that does not take returns, or at least warn me prior to purchase.
