Bistro Mimi's Cafe reviews
16There is a weird smell, kind of like they have a sewer problem. And the food is just mediocre. Their pot pie used to be delicious, but they changed it & now it's just meh.
Frenchified place with a lot of food variety mainly breads? The service is awesome and the portions gentle. Also to point out the breakfast is really good in this place; quite a good option around the area.
I enjoyed the MONTECRISTO/croquet monsieur and the onion soup.the server was very attentive, the restaurant and accommodations are clean, plenty of parking and the menu prices are reasonable.
Service was good and the food was served hot! Be prepared for it to be little pricey for breakfast food. But it's good.
I use to reserve every mother's day here, but it's been years I don't, the menu is a little different than it use to. The meals are not totally French, is more like a fusion French cooking.
Though the food was wonderful, after seeing how dirty the bathroom was I questioned the kitchen's cleanliness As a germaphobe dirty bathrooms are a red flag for me.
Mission Valley is full of restaurants. I have went to a few Mimis Cafes and they are all good. One thing that separates this restaurant from so many in Mission Valley is it's easy to get in and out and they actually have parking! The staff was fantastic, the place was clean and comfortable.
It was ok. Got special drinks that tasted a little bland and I got a appetizer as a meal but wasn't really impressed for my first time.
I would give 0 stars if I could, I ordered through Uber Eats and paid 17 dollars for this french toast as well as numerous delivery fees. It was cold, soggy, and a tiny portion for the amount I payed. It’s completely different from the picture. I’ve been to Mimi’s a few times and have always thought the prices were fair and the food was pretty good but this is a JOKE.
Really great food, recommend the corn chowder super creamy, hot chocolate is great for cold weather, hospitality is superb, the waitress is really attentive, all in all great experience will be returning definitely. 10/10
First time trying this place but also first time dining in by myself just for the experience. My server Billy was awesome and his hospitality was beyond my expectation.
My Breakfast was horrible, Had ordered the ham sausage and bacon omelette, it was so overcooked and dry. Potatoes were not cooked all the way though. Waitress was amazing and fast, but because of quality of food will not return!
Our waiter was so kind in making sure our waters were filled and we were taking care of while enjoying lunch on the patio.
Spinach artichoke dip was really good but a bit pricey however, is expected in mission valley. The grilled Atlantic salmon was really good. It was seasoned and cooked well. Our waitress did a great job I don't think my drink was ever empty which crazy right? !
Took 20 min just to take our order. Food was cold when we finally received it. Food we didn’t order was on our ticket. Never received an apology for the wait or lack of service.
Nice staff and clean restaurant, customer service is great.
They have most delicious menu in San Diego.
I encourage everyone to visit this restaurant.
