Delicious food, wonderful conversation and delightful waitress! Saved this place for when my fiance and I are back in town

It was takeout only and the portions were kinda small for the amount that they're charging. Food tasted okay but did not feel like it was restaurant grade.

This place is amazing. The customer service is also great and the women working there are extremely friendly. They have a lot of vegan options (and non vegan, of course). I’ve had the tofu katsu curry, garlic tofu, and vegan gyoza and they were all delicious.

Minako is such a wonderful place to have authentic, tasteful and clean Japanese food. Yoko is an amazing cook and will go out of her way to make sure you are satisfied. Friendly and welcoming. There are many gluten-free options which is a plus. We go there often and never regret it. Chicken Katsu is my favorite!

Delicious sushi and curry. I had very good vegan options here and they were all good. Small place so prepare to sit outside or take to go.

Formerly in San Francisco, this mom/daughter serves up Japanese takeaway food. The mom herself cooks the food and daughter manages the front. Their most popular item is Katsu Curry and are an excellent choice if you have dietary restrictions.

I tried the Teriyaki Chicken Bento, and the daughter described it as being different from a normal teriyaki glaze, which it was. It was less salty/sweet and the sauce was light making the dish feel like health was in mind.

An amazing thing they mentioned was that if the mom of the shop has the ingredients, they would make items off the menu if it’s requested! Such a wonderful duo - come support your local business!

An authentic Japanese mom and daughter show. It was a San Francisco institution before it had to move south after their lease ran out. Apart from the great food, the conversations with the owners are great too:). Vegan friendly.

A great little gem of a restaurant!

This restaurant is a family-run business and has limited service during right now (takeout only). Masks are also still required inside. The food is really good and highly customizable. I've been trying to minimize my salt/sodium intake and they have been very accommodating.

Always wondered about this remotely located Japanese restaurant and tried it out with hope of finding a new gem. Disappointing experience: portions were small for the price and food was given with no carrying bag or even utensils. Rice was old and cold. Will never go back.

Food was delicious and very clean, tasted like a home cooked meal. I didn't try any, but I also saw a lot of vegan/vegetarian options. And the owner (?) was super friendly and thoughtful, I ordered a glass bottle of sprite and she asked if I had a bottle opener. I did not so she opened it for me and wrapped the top with plastic wrap super tight so it wouldn't spill. Note that as of 7/18/2021, it is currently take out only and there is no outdoor seating

If you are looking for real authentic Japanese Bento Box, the one you can find in Japan, you must try this.

Tasty food and almost the entire menu is celiac safe? I might have a new favorite restaurant! Now I just need to try it all.

I love it very good home made curry and very inviting friendly staff! Will be going back again soon for some more katsu curry!

Great place for variety in the otherwise greasy takeout scene - we had the lunchboxes and they are wholesome, fresh, and clean meals. Chatting Ethan Hawke movies while we waited was icing on the cake lol
