Mind Care Services reviews
9Been coming here for about 4/5 years. Dr. Sandoval is great. She has a great sense of humor. More importantly, she works with you to help with any concerns about your medication dosage or quantity. Since COVID, I've been seeing her via virtual (zoom). Very convenient! I haven't had any concerns or problems with the office staff.
My mental health and well being has suffered greatly due to the lack of professionalism by the staff, especially Brenda. It should be illegal for medical businesses to operate the way Mind Care does. I wish I would have read these reviews before considering this place and wasting months of time. Even my psychiatrist said “they operate like they don’t want the business” I don’t know why she would knowingly refer me there. You’ve been warned, this place is shady AF. It’s shameful that mental health patients are being subjected to this level of substandard care.
It's been 2 years since I've seen Dr. NAFI. And now I got to the point where whoever knew me can say I am a different person
She has lots of patience just trust her
She is very educated. I highly recommend her just
Dr. NAFI
Yes, the staff is the most bitter people I have ever met, not just bitter but unprofessional, I'm positive half of the time I get a call from the receptionist she's high AF. That being said I go there for my therapist and psychiatrist and they're both 6/5. That being said, has anyone told their doctors about the staff? I haven't but will do it next time.
Had a video appointment with Dr Oh. He is a very knowledgeable clinician. However, he gave me the “you’re 31, you’ll want children eventually” talk, which was incredibly dismissive. I told him, “that’s insulting”, and he doubled down and continued on his lecture of “you’ll change your mind”. Good to see sexism running rampant from a clinician who is supposed to focus on mental health. Offensive and unprofessional.
If you’re more than 3 minutes late to the tele-appointment they will cancel your appointment for you and still charge you the full hour. I tried to get in touch 4 minutes after my start time and was told my provider had already filled my spot and was with another patient and that I was charged the full hour. Should be illegal but at the very least is immoral for a therapist dealing with depressed people to be so unyielding
So surprised to see negative comments. I have had nothing but a great experience here and have been a patient for over 4 years. Would highly recommend!
The absolute worst psychiatric institution I’ve ever had the misfortune of trying to work with. Dr. Heidy for the past few months has been prescribing me medication that is not readily available in pharmacies and has provided no amount of advice or assistance in how I can adjust other than changing the dosage of medication that I have to go to the pharmacy and find out isn’t available. My emails for a follow up appointment to change prescriptions are now being ignored. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are strictly about profits, not helping people.
I don’t know why this place has negative reviews. I’ve had the NP Belen and Dr. Sandoval for my sister and they were both professional, patient & caring. Also, it’s nice to get a live person whenever I call this office compared to the last place we went. The co pay is much cheaper, too, so can’t complain about that. Give this place a chance. I’ve had no issues.
