I was recommended this place by a coworker for general maintenance. I had some specific issues identified at another mechanic and dealership, but their description and prices were suspect so I was looking for a second opinion.

I came to MM Auto Techs with an appointment and was quickly processed. Alan came out to get specifics from me and then his team went to work. A reasonable amount of time later Alan came out to explain their findings, much more thoroughly than anyone had before. I'm not a car guy, but I try to have a general understanding of them and Alan explained the issues very clearly and in a simple enough format for me to understand. They finished up the repairs and asked me to stop by some weeks later for a quick free evaluation to double check some of the issues.

Overall a great experience, the office and waiting area are very nice. Decorated with Chinese decor and burning incense. There is free wifi and computers if you want to work while you wait.

The service and emphasis put on making the customers experience a great one, is second to none here. I’m in Oceanside and the long drive is worth it because I know I’m putting my cars in the best hands possible. Not to mention the prices are unbeatable.

It's funny I just noticed I had already written a review in 2015. Well, eight years later and I'm still a very satisfied customer. Between my husband's and my car we have been to this place many many times. (Never anywhere else). The work is excellent. We have never ever felt taken advantage off. In fact a couple of times we thought there was something wrong with the car and he told us it was fine and didn't charge us anything.

Today we thought there were many issues with my car that needed to be looked into. The owner called to tell me everything was okay except for the sparkplugs. And that's all he charged us for.

My family has been taking our cars here for all types of services for over two decades. They are straight up honest, affordable, and absolutely NO upselling.

We took our Acura ILX to a nearby Acura dealership for an oil change a few months ago because we had a coupon. The service advisor told us we needed front breaks and had an unknown leak coming from somewhere, and quoted us around 800$ just to diagnose it.

We decided to take it to Mira Mesa Auto Techs to get the breaks done, which was nearly half as expensive as the dealership, and Alan let us know that there was a very small leak, but it's not really a problem at this point, and would let us know when it becomes an issue. I really appreciate people that tell you the way it is, and aren't trying to upsell you all the time.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone in San Diego if you have an Asian model vehicle.

This was the best auto care experience I’ve ever had. Alan was so upfront and knowledgeable and beyond fair. This is the level of service that other mechanics should strive towards. A good man doing good business. How highly recommend. Give him a call.
