MiraCosta College reviews
14Never answer phones and now can't do the fall classes this ain't the first time. Don't count on them to call back either they won't this place blows.
Here for a soccer game. Not enought shade for fans; Folks are using my bus as a "shaddy spot" to enjoy the game.
Wasted many precious years of my life & thousands of dollars on these colleges
Theyvwill be waste of time & huge debts.
They'll never help you find employment nether they Carreer center in Carlsbad.
Big rip off.dont do it! @
Get a trade as an electrician, plumber, painter etc via union or your choice.
The Best Community College in San Diego! The Environment Here Is Excellent. So Peaceful, Safe & Not To Mention Beautiful Surroundings.
The Faculty & Professors Are Absolutely The Best. MiraCosta College Truly Cares About It's Students Sucess & Well Being. Definitely Planning on Getting Another Degree From MiraCosta.
You Can Never Stop Learning!
Great campus with excellent staff. Highly recommend this community college. Definitely under rated.
This is a nice school! I attended here a little over 2 years and earned my associates degree.
Clean, kind professors, and large parking lots. Make sure you get your parking permit as soon as possible, or you will be cited a ticket by their on campus police.
Cool and chill with lots of neat classes, and if you care about transferring to a four-year university they make it very easy to get all your prerequisites sorted. When I attended there were a lot of squares who'd complain about you smoking outside the officially designated shame zones but most of them were adult learners so who cares what they think
The environment is very nice. The parking is sufficient. Made great memories during my time at MiraCosta College.:)
Administration is terrible, campus police are worse and they charge $60 for parking tickets after making the process to get a pass difficult.
Dealing with administration is a nightmare. Every time I had to ask them a question about financial aid or any classes not getting added they would tell me it's fixed but when I get home to use financial aid or add those classes it wouldn't work. You usually have to ask them a few times on separate days to actually get a proper answer.
Also a while ago when I was traveling East on Barnard Dr towards the stop sign and campus police stopped at the adjacent stop sign then turned onto my street very slowly. When I stopped at the stop sign I noticed the police car had stopped in the middle of the road behind me. I felt like he was trying to make a reason to arrest me or something. When I then started to move again the police car speed off very fast screeching his tires. It was very bizarre.
For releasing mylar balloons for your graduation ceremony! How can you NOT know how horrible they are for the environment! Shame - shame - shame!
Is it too difficult to answer the phone? What kind of service can I expect if I have to jump through hoops to talk to someone? My time is valuable.
The best school I've ever been to. A fantastic theatre department, good food options, and some of the greatest professors you'll meet.
Very friendly community college with low-key students and caring faculty dedicated to providing excellent education opportunities to everyone.
