Staying at the Hyatt and it's impossible to use the "complimentary service" card. They just have one person working the stand all holiday weekend. Seems like a huge resort fee scam.

Atrocious customer service! I would never have come here if the Hyatt had not offered complimentary 1-hour rentals.

Line moves ridiculously slowly due to female worker insisting on witnessing waiver forms being completed one at a time (before I could even finish asking, she curtly refused to provide a waiver form to complete in advance). To boot, after my complimentary 1-hour rental was complete, she suddenly claims that complimentary rentals do not apply to tandem kayaks although there is absolutely no notice (in fine print or otherwise) of such a policy.

Male worker (Gill?) likes to power trip by berating customers. For example, there was a woman who was having difficulty pulling her paddleboard into dock, and a line of returning kayakers was forming behind her. After ignoring her numerous pleas for help, Gill is finally bothered enough to attend to her by shaming her for not being able to pull into dock by herself. Thereafter, he promptly took a lunch break in spite of the line of returning kayakers who also requested help pulling into dock.

3/5 specifically for service. We showed up at 9: 30am and no one was around. Called the company and they said someone was here (no one was) but they'd call the worker to see where he was. Worker comes back to the stand at 10: 30 stating he is going to take his lunch break (even though he hasn't been here since we arrived at 9: 30). He came back at 11am and we got our kayaks. Beyond that everything went well on the water/return process.
