Mission Lakes Country Club reviews
18Went to a estate sale and left with a nice curio cabinet for 40 bucks follow the signs.they got a lot of nice stuff in that house
Gorgeous golf course in a prime spot in desert hot springs. Great food, amazing pools and tennis courts too.
Grass golf courses in the desert should be illegal and won’t be possible in less than a decade. Time to wake up and face reality and act like civic citizens.
Good all around experience with pool and food. But super outdated. Stuck in the 80's boring!
This review is not to be removed. Such a thing should not be possible.
This neighborhood has severe unaddressed issues with light, noise and the chemical pollution of a thousand improperly aerated septic systems. The people who live in the neighborhood and attend the club are often entitled and seem to believe that money is morality; apparently war criminals with hurt feelings about offhand remarks merit more care than the rest of daily operations. The prices for food used to be reasonable in the cafe and high in the restaurant and now both are very high and will soon be extraordinary. Dues are skyrocketing and illicitly blamed on bare minimum wage increases and insurance premiums rather than the entirely unnecessary and corruption-prone 25% reserve fund.
The reality is that drought or not most water here comes from the aquifer and will soon be depleted, and a golf course in the desert is not sustainable for another decade. There is no reason to upgrade the main clubhouse to another golf-oriented design. The members and leaders of this community must face reality and make a plan to begin immediately transitioning to a different desert community that can survive what is coming in the next generation.
If the county intervened, much quality of life and private equity could still be saved. The privatization of community deserves a response from the county in stricter oversight for HOAs.
We had a wonderful memorial service for Dean Hudson today. He was the father of friends of ours he was a pillar of the community. I have probably played at least 100 times at mission lakes Country Club. We were members back in the seventies and eighties. It's a great place to live.
Great track in great condition. Holes 11&12 are challenging. It can get windy, so check the forecast.
Under new management prices have soared for members and guests. Guest rate up $30, went from $55 to $85. An $8 breakfast burrito went up to $12 etc, etc. Fun course always in good condition. Chef Chickee in the Cafe is always a pleasure, he is a MLCC staple! They are fortunateto have him!
This is a wonderful community with the best neighbors you will find, many of whom are veterans….
Yesterday I used the practice areas with no issues.
Today I was asked to leave the practice area because I wasn't wearing a collared shirt. And I'm wearing the same exact thing as I wore yesterday to the "T. " *pictured
The outside services/marshal who didn't introduce himself with his name & was apparently on break or off yesterday. Asked me to leave due to my v-neck shirt.
(I was once a marshal in the golf industry & while I was working I always introduced myself with my name. That's just what we did.) Then asked if I was a member. So if I was a member with a v-neck shirt I could stay? This guy is working for a course open to the public so he is in for a rude awakening as he mentioned he was a new employee. Whatever his name is.
As a past member & homeowner at Mission Lakes this bothers me.
This guy drove his cart by me several times. Then decides to come & bother me while I'm practicing. Really? When you can go check the pool & make sure those people are members. Since you are outside services. Fortunately I'm not a member I won't have daily run-ins with this guy & I don't have to complain to the club. So I can mention it here to future guests or prospective homeowners of Mission Lakes. Sadly, if you don't look country club you will have problems on-site as a visitor or member with certain personnel.
I look forward to playing this course. It looks like its in great shape. Hopefully my future experiences improves. Because it certainly has started smug & pretentious.
Very clean, relaxing, and welcoming atmosphere. My server, Madison, was very pleasant, and patient with my 4 year old son. She was very knowledgeable, polite, upbeat, professional, and has the best attitude. The food we got was very delicious and perfectly made (as well as my cocktail, thank you again Madison). I will definitely be back & I highly recommend this establishment
The golf course when the wind isn't blowing is beyond amazing. Love this course. The price is great and it's very well taken care of
Amazing, by far the nicest and cleanest course I’ve played. Not one patch of brown or yellow grass. It was immaculate, and the greens were so clean. Beware of the trees though they will get you.
The food was good but service was really slow and the dining room did not seem to be overly crowded. For the price of the dinner the table could use a centerpiece.
There was zero ambiance.
The course is always in immaculate condition! It has a couple of "quirky" holes which makes it a bit more fun. The price, for this time of year, is quite reasonable.
Immaculate condition! Great service and unexpected views and elevation changes through the golf course.
Awesome! Course. Prepare for your A game difficult course, perfect greens.elevation change like no other 10 out of 10
Privileged course with no possibility for membership for those living just 1/2 block from the course. Chemical dump.
