Had a great time at Eastwood’s ranch! A bit expensive though. Exquisite red wine on the menu

Mission ranch was a little bit of a disappointment. I expected next level ambience and food but received a great food in a stressful environment. We were seated in a corner where they sat families with babies and kids. It was an earful to say the least. Nevertheless, the food was excellent but not extraordinary. Good restaurant for families looking for a good bite to eat.

My third visit. Great food and atmosphere, unfortunately, this time didn't have the pleasure of seeing Clint Eastwood, in person: (

We arrived 2 hours before dinner time, sat on the patio for drinks to wait for our table. View was beautiful, drinks were good, people were friendly and then I or well the chair I was sitting in on their patio, which was right next to the brink fireplace with the cement wall directly in front of our view, the front left leg of my chair went through the wood decking below me, all the way to the seat I was sitting on. My left arm reached out to the fireplace next to me and caught myself from my head hitting the patio decks cement wall. My elder father on the right of me grabbed the arm of the chair and the two gentlemen who sat behind us were on their feet, right behind my chair. The patio was full, service walking around to which none of them came to help. My front chair leg went through the wood deck with me in it, mission ranch how could you miss it. Sharing with the staff what had just happened, I can't say that one of them even asked me If I was alright. We got sat for dinner inside the restusrant ordered our meals by having to ask for a server to take our order, we did not get asked once if everything was OK, or if we needed anything during our meal. Noone talked to us after my face almost hit the wall. We walked out paying full price with a healthy tip noone that was working there said anything. No thank for coming or anything. Disappointing. Until the end where one hostess at the door admitted fault by letting us know they put a cone at the hole just for me and i replied "yeah, you dont want someone much older to fall through and get hurt, thats for sure". On top of that we find out that Mission Ranch DOES NOT even give a Veterns discount! For gosh sake, he's a Vetern himself. My Vetern hasn't forgotten.
Be thankful, The outcome could've been worse, Misson Ranch.

The food and drinks were
4 stars; but our service and price get no rating.

Excellent food. We got the prime rib and was a huge portion and so tender- like butter. The desserts were great too. Very good quality. We ate outside at sunset and it was beautiful.

There is not much to say about a place with amazing views, food and service. Especially when you know it is owned by Clint Eastwood. You can see and feel the love he has put into this place to keep it as pristine as possible to be able to share it with us locals and the world, rather than let it get taken over by development and housing. This is an absolute gem.

Sorry but hard pass. Cute sheep and a nice sunset but waited 1.5 hrs for not good seating (terrible booking system btw), head host was kinda rude, customers stuck up and the food was soggy and overpriced. Bring your camera cause that's the main thing you'll be paying for. The servers were great though all credit to them.

Delightful place. Bucolic, development saved by people of vision! A favorite for me. Outdoors a hoot. The food could be better but the ambiance trumps it all!

Mission Ranch is a magical place.

My dinner was incredibly nostalgic. I was reminded of family celebrations at Lawry's in LA; this prime rib was better than Lawry's of late, lean and tender. The twice-baked potato was reminiscent of my Nana's in the best way.

Debbie took real good care of us.

The grasshopper dessert cocktail is a liquid version of your favorite childhood dessert. Even better that it gave me just enough courage to sing along with the piano; I didn't get the piano-player's name, but she was lovely!

We went there for a Thanksgiving dinner and found the setting and service to be warm and welcoming.

Great views and best chicken sandwich anywhere. We also recently had dinner here. They don’t take reservation which is annoying but there are plenty of seating and if you are willing to sit outside do you want to seated quickly.
I was craving prime rib, so waited up ordering prime rib, which came with twice baked potato, steamed vegetables and fresh, shaved horseradish. If you’d like horseradish, you would love the fresh, shaved horseradish even better.the wine list is extensive and the prices are very reasonable. Service is excellent and if you’re celebrating your birthday, be sure to let him know and they will make sure to celebrate it with you by bringing an ice cream, a candle and a group of servers that will sing out loud. It is worth mentioning that the crabcakes are doughy. Perhaps the goat cheese with sun dried tomatoes is a better option. Also garlic bread which is free is excellent.

Very good appetizers, entrees and desserts! Loud, but lively in the evening with the tipsy old ladies singing along with the live piano.

We had dinner at the ranches restaurant last night. It's was good. We filled up on the best fresh garlic's bread and could hardly eat our dinners. Had a refreshing frozen grasshopper cocktail as well and the food was fast and service friendly.

My go-to place for dinner every time we come down Carmel Valley Ranch for staycation. I always order rack of lamb, simply the best meat (although feel bad eating the meat while watching the lamb in the background…) drinks and dessert are fantastic. Price is very reasonable! Come around 4: 50pm to get a buzzer to get seated early 5pm.

John at the bar was excellent. We arrived early for drinks and an appetizer. Debbie was our waitress and was informative, fun and witty. We had the scallops and fillet, both superb. For dessert, the pecan pie and brandy Alexander, good enough to be Southern. It is a local experience and I highly recommend.
