Mitsuwa Marketplace reviews
25Amazing Japanese style market complex. (Hard to just call this a grocery store). Good prices, great products and helpful, friendly staff.
Awesome place! They got takoyaki shop. And also featuring all sorts of delicious japanese food with the sakana music.
There is always something new to discover here. I got some amazing Hello Kitty tins with strawberry wafers. They have other individual shops all unique like the matcha love shop. It’s sometimes very very crowded because that’s just how good it is. They also have J. Sweets which has the most unique and tasty sweets, the prices range from low end to very high $100 a snack.
This location has mochi creme and regular food demo specials that are not available at other mitsuwa. Parking can be difficult on the weekend but there is plenty of street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. New self check out machines makes things faster and easier.
This place is great. You looking for Asian products and consumables, mitsuwa got you. There are other mini stores especially a ramen shop that is consistently busy. Mitsuwa has found events all the time. I went there for Modo and takoyaki. Limited time. The parking is busy almost all day because they are fixing a corner store. There are also other stores that you should check after enjoying mitsuwa.
The biggest Japanes market in the area. Go in the morning for a parking spot. Otherwise, 15 min parking fishing is a norm.
Mitsuwa has a pretty good selection, keeps the store fairly clean, the staff is generally kind but usually unobtrusive, and the self-checkout addition is great.
My first time there! Was pleasantly surprised by the selections & varieties to choose from. The seafood I purchased was fresh & tasty! Vegetables were good quality! Will be going back!
Friendly Japanese market with excellent authentic Ramma Noodles Food Court. Some food services are cash only and Japanese only signs!
A go to for all things Japanese in the area! There's even a Santouka ramen and a green tea/matcha stall. The ramen is super busy all the time and they will close early if they run out of soup broth! There's also a small shop that sells mochi that was brought in from Japan and those were delicious!
Had the Modo donuts today.line was too long. The donuts were good but doubt I would wait that long again. Recommend eating them when they are fully cooled.
Can be busy at time but has very helpful and service other in the store not do much but usually very polite staff
My japanese wife would come here every day if she could.great place and lovely people. Get your sushi here, japanese snacks, asian foods, and good ramen here.
Great place to get Japanese food. They have packed foods like sushi or other rice dish. I like to go there in the weekend because they usually has different vendor who want to show their products. Sometimes, you got to try different Japanese treats too during that weekend.
Great Japanese market. I’m not as experienced with Japanese markets as I am with Chinese so not sure how comprehensive it is but the produce was fresh and mostly reasonably priced. The prepared food section looked incredible (I didn’t buy anything but will be back). The pepper marinaded chicken was a hit with my family! Would go back.
Authentic Japanese supermarket, books and stationary. It's a bit hard to find parking in the weekends, thus the 4 star instead of 5 star.
Japanese Grocery with small organic produce section, fresh/frozen meats, poultry, fish. High end manju store, frozen mochi, and skin care inside. Popular ramen eatery. Parking packed during lunch. Shopping center has other eateries, barber, Daiso, couple of bakeries, bubble tea shop, etc.
I love coming to Mitsuwa for the produce, snacks, and drinks. They have a really great variety and there's always something new to try! There's plenty of smaller shops inside, including a tea shop, ramen stand, bookstore, and movie rentals. The bookstore in particular is quite nice.
One of my favorite asian grocery stores to shop at. They carry a huge variety of products, like asian sauces, meats/seafood, asian bowls/utensils, and yummy asian snacks. They carry ready to eat sushi, baked goods, etc. And if you are hungry, there are a couple of small food places inside (Hokkaido ramen santouka and miyabitei) and then you can stop for dessert at matcha love or j.sweets. They also have pop-ups there often. So keep a lookout for those.
Happy to find it, but suggest it could be improved by studying Uwajimaya in Beaverton, OR and Seattle, WA. The selection of fish was good but dry goods and especially vegetables were weak. Even Kinokuniya Bookstore that is connected was much smaller than the ones connected to Uwajimaya.
