Great market, tons of delicious snack items as well as groceries. Restaurant inside are good as well.

Love coming here! They have great variety of condiments, sake, snacks and more. Cute skin care aisle too.

Great choices of Asian food but don't look for toiletries they don't have those mostly food and other stuff. Try their kimbap and rolls good job

After my first visit to Japan, I got quite obsessed w/ all Japanese food and drink. Honestly, it's almost like being in a market in Japan. Most of the staff are Japanese and if you miss Japan, this *IS* the place to go. I make a point of trying something new each time I visit. Sometime I like it and sometimes I don't, but that's part of the adventure. Probably one of the best sources of fresh seafood in San Diego. The Japanese do not mess around when it comes to seafood, and Mitsuwa is no exception.

Awesome place! I love everything there from the small restaurants inside, grocery food options, and the small stores located within!

Clean but pricey. Used to have fresh made sushi and bento box at very attractive price after 6 PM, now is no more. Miss those days.

We love their food court and keep ordering their spicy miso ramen prk Chasu. We get fresh produce and sushi at their grocery store. Overall best Japanese supermarket and food stall.

Mitsuwa is my favorite marketplace to go to. Their produce is always fresh and they have my favorite foods that I grew up with so I never go days without having a little bit of home. They provide excellent customer service.

Wide selection of Japanese faire and groceries. Clean and respectful! They have small stores inside for anime and other Japanese merch, as well as two restaurants inside the store. Highly recommend!

TLDR: visit the place and have a look around there is gonna be some there for you. Very nice market to go to, has a lot of snacks and food you can’t find typically at a normal chain grocery store.it’s filled with a few other businesses which have a variety of items. They also have premade meals which are pretty tasty cheaper then a restaurant and filling.

I usually come here after a workout to fill up on meats and carbs with a nice sugary drink. Good recover spot.

Have been to other locations that have a larger footprint and more choices but I still like stopping every time I’m in town.

The food court may not have the same level of presentation as a stand-alone restaurant. However, it’s definitely worth considering as the food is tasty and significantly less expensive.

Always clean, best selection of authentic Japanese food staples. My Mother, from Hiroshima, always finds quality ingredients she is looking for. Taste of home. Staff is friendly & she loves to speak her native language with employees.

They have a large selection and are always helpful. I especially like the pickles section.
There is also a Japanese salesclerk, and if you ask a question, he will respond politely.

I love this place. A little slice of Japan (very small slice) has gigantic bentos ready to go. Be sure to get your bentos early because they sell out fast. The restaurant options are pretty good as well.

Daikon is sold here as well as a lot of bento boxes to choose from and fresh sushi as well have a lot of Japanese products oh and da candies with action figures just like you're in Okinawa or Guam they even sell fresh Wassabi root!

So much sold in a rather small building. Lunch boxes (bento), quality cuts of meat, lots of Sake options, a little collectors shop, 2 restaurants, a crepe shop and prize arcade machines. All the grocery stuff and I found my favorite soda which I have been looking for. Successful trip if you ask me. Highly recommend you check this market out.

Haven't been in the area in a long time, went for dinner. So so good! Also, miss this grocery store. Alway have what I need!

It is an awesome Japanese supermarket, but the meal in the adjoining restaurant was subpar. I was expecting something more authentic and not unseasoned fast food style.
