Mittal Ram L MD reviews
10I was referred to this doctor, but calling for appointment was a problem. The phone rings and nobody picks up and when they do they put me on a long hold then they end call. What kind of customer service is this? Then I look up reviews and they are not good, very low. If this is how they care for patients, i rather go somewhere else. No thanks!
He was rude with me because I didn’t tell him I’m hard of hearing before he came in the office. (I was translating for my mom) Yet he spent over 5 minutes on a personal call with his mask OFF in the room. Not surprised I see others mentioning how unprofessional the place is. Reception was nice though.
First time there today waited an hour and a half and ask them when they thought I would be seen and they said possibly another hour unfortunately the ride service I am with could not get me at that time so I had to leave without being seen. Their little waiting room was so packed there was no place to sit.they close at 5 I left at 4: 30 and there were still at least six patients that were waiting to be seen after me!
Dr ram mittal is a great doctor. Yes the wait time may be long for some people but given the procedures that he does some people take longer then others, I think that more people need to take that into consideration.
They didn't schedule my endoscopy, sqeezed me in and i had to wait 2 hours longer while fasting, when i call i get hung up on or kept on hold. I can't trust them, so why would i go under anesthesia if i already have trust issues with this place. I left and will find new Dr.
I had a great experience with Dr Mittal. I was really nervous because of the bad reviews but I went through with my EGD and it was totally fine. Better than I expected. He was straight forward but not rude. The nursing staff was not super chatty or extra nice but I was fine. They weren't rude or anything. The procedure was fast and recovery was minimal.
This doctors office was absolutely horrible. They literally treated me as a number and not as a human being. They called me by the using the word “next”.
“Is this our next one? ”
“Where’s our next procedure? ”
When they found me, they came in to start an IV. It took 3 attempts.
When I got back to the “operating “ room for my procedure, No one said a single word to me or explain to me what they were doing. The nurse simply grabbed my wrist read my name out loud so that they could verify that they had the right patient and then threw my hand down on the bed. She then said, abruptly, “row on your left side”. The next thing I knew I was being a awakened in the recovery room. I was so scared I didn’t know that I had already had my procedure because nobody spoke to me about it.
It has been one week today and I am as sick as I have ever been. Coughing, no voice, sore throat… I now have a bloody stool. I am thinking this all must be from the biopsy they did while I was under but nobody will take me seriously when I called their office about it. They stated that I simply probably “caught a cold” and that it was probably “coincidence”.
I am supposed to go back I am supposed to go back into weeks for my biopsy results but they aren’t going to see me for five weeks. Who knows why. That is an extra few weeks I’ll have to wait to get my biopsy results. Tons of horrible things spinning in my head and I have to wait because they can’t see me sooner.in two weeks for my biopsy results but they aren’t going to see me for five weeks. Who knows why. That is an extra few weeks I’ll have to wait to get my biopsy results. Tons of horrible things spinning in my head and I have to wait because they can’t see me sooner. Overall, I’m VERY unhappy with this doctors office.
Office staff is horrendous. Dr Mittal is a nice Dr, but his staff obviously doesn’t communicate with him, or he doesn’t care about his patients.
My wife was discharged from his care completely, in the middle of a serious infection, caused by a stay in the hospital after a GI bleed that was corrected by Dr Mittal via endoscopy and colonoscopy. My wife is still recovering from the whole thing and has yet to be able to see Dr Mittal for a follow up to the GI bleed issue. They state they have no appointments until March and discontinued all med refills and we’ve heard through 3rd parties he has discharged my wife completely, even though she’s seen him for over 3 years.
We keep being told his office time has been reduced, he’s retiring, among other excuses. They just don’t want to handle the paperwork involved in a patient with a serious medical condition.
Time to go back to Stanford, where they actually cared about their patients and the care they received.
Dr is only interested in money. Drives extravagant car he (not disabled people) parks closest to his door. Constant problems with this place and Calviva. Of all the doctors I've ever seen he is THE ONLY ONE with issues about paying him. Tiny waiting room very close quarters.
I reviewed the office before coming in and was a little scared going based on the reviews it had but I decided to give it a shot and let me tell you the staff is very friendly and the Dr.gets right to business I was in and out within like an hour. I really like this place and do recommend it.
