UPDATE
Mixt had greatly improved its quality control. While I still get the occasional mixup, I no longer go in wondering if I'll actually get what I ordered. The quality of ingredients has remained high, and one salad is the right portion enough for a full meal.

Also their carrot ginger turmeric drink is bomb.

I used to LOVE Mixt, and it pains me to give a poor review to a B-Corp. But over the past year or so Mixt has turned into an imitation of its former self.

More often than not my order is messed up - missing ingredients, or dressing mixed in instead when I ordered it on the side (ruining more than one lunch-for-tomorrow).

The portion sizes have also crept down, especially with the new takeout container, while prices have stayed on the high side at ~$16.

I really want Mixt to return to its former glory. I like what it stands for and how it operates. But right now the product is consistently disappointing. I hope they can turn it around.

Editing to say: they did at least refund my order, which I appreciate. Willing to give them another shot - bumped up a star.

A friend recommended this place and it’s close to where I work, so I was really excited to try it.

I put in my first order today (had to do delivery because I can’t leave my work) and the food arrived super quickly and was visibly fresh and looked lovely.

Unfortunately, my salad was supposed to come with chicken, but it did not. And I requested no avocado (love it but I have an intolerance), and there was avocado.

The business model is that they don’t offer telephone support — they say their email support is “rather quick”, but it’s been over two hours since I emailed them with no reply. I’m not a picky eater; I removed the avocado and ate my sad little salad, but this meal was supposed to hold me all day, and I paid for protein. The parts of the salad that I did get to eat were very good. It’s just that my 880 calorie salad was probably closer to 440 cal without the chicken and avocado, and I’m going to be hungry before I can leave.

Hoping customer service will make this right.

Last time I ordered from Mixt app, I never received my order and they refused to return my money. They just lost a regular customer!

This location works great. I order on the app and pull up in the alley to the northeast, run in to grab my food, and I'm in and out within a minute and a half. The food has always been prepared as expected and ready when I get there. This location has the bonus of people being friendly and saying hi when I go in to pick up my mobile order.

This is a fast-casual regional chain, so keep that in mind when ordering. I like Mixt a lot because they have enough locations that I can reliably get a healthy meal near work, home, and the gym. The salads are actually excellent and filling. I'm always excited to eat one. The grain bowls are a lot like the salads but their "right rice" is super tasty.

I rarely actually eat at this location or any of the Mixt locations. The convenience of this spot is top notch though.

Food was good, staff was nice.
However, this restaurant has the so called “employee benefit surcharge. ” I didn’t notice it and already left some tips, and there wasn’t a way to opt out from what I remember, so my $12 something salad ended up being more than $17. When I asked the staff about the surcharge (haven’t seen it before), she said it’s a California thing, which didn’t seem to be true after I came home and did my research. Not sure if I feel comfortable coming back to this restaurant.

I tried to Revol resolve this issue with the restaurant, to no avail. I purchased a salad two days ago just before close, and became violently ill throughout the evening. Today my stomach is still very upset, and I have not heard from anyone at the restaurant. I went in the next day, spoke with the manager, left my full contact information and receipt, and no one has contacted me.

Please save your money, and possibly your health and eat someplace else. I don’t believe this place is clean.

I frequently visit this salad establishment. I'm down with the "bachelor" most visits but on occasion I have the "Caesar " Very consistent and delightful staff, It gets busy at the lunch hour.

I had a diy salad and later noticed I was charged $11.95 not the menu price of
$ 10.45- so that was off-putting. +4.45 for cauliflower+. 99 employee benefit surcharge. + tax. It just wasn't worth it for a take out salad

Every single person working was super kind. It was my first time at this location and being from Oakland, I know how whacky and stressful this area can be sometimes, they were mad chill. Big ups to the crew working 2: 40-4ish. Awesome folks!

The food was delicious, but it's just to expensive just for salad I paid $27 for one salad and two drinks

Fast food salad place. Lots of good options and the food is generally tasty. This was my first dine in experience. The place is clean but it is fast food so not much for atmosphere.

Ordered from uber eats and as im 1/4 of the way into my beetnik salad I notice a bug on my finger. As I pay closer attention, I notice DOZENS of bugs in my food. SO GROSS! And the worst part is they have no phone number to contact them so they will probably continue to serve food littered in bugs all day: (.

Food can be more fresh, can have other options like peas or another cut for the carrots but that's a personal thing (it doesn't affect the stars that I'm giving tho), as service: Isabel and Luis are the one that got me, they're amazing, Isabel made my salad and she was super nice. Luis got me at the register, even tho that I had a problem with the Google pay, he fixed right away. Amazing service. That's why is a five start, but in food could be a 4.5, maybe more fresh vegetables (and I know vegetables are easier to go bad and probably were fresh earlier).

The first time I had a mixt salad was at a work lunch, so I didn't choose the type. I found it was just ok, kind of plain. Today I ordered a create your own grain bowl. First off, calling it a grain bowl was misleading in my opinion. The base was more than 50% greens, more than the grain (quinoa). I ordered chicken, beets, honey spiced sweet potato, cauliflower, and apples. The chicken was dry and bland, and the vegetables all seemed to be unseasoned. The apples were crisp but browned. The blood orange dressing was quite tasty, but it couldn't carry the salad on its own. Despite all of the toppings and tons of options, this was a very unsatisfying salad and overall bland. For 20 dollars a salad, I really felt like I got ripped off. The one thing I can say is that the salad was big enough to fill me up and the additions were cooked the bare minimum to make them decent.

They don't let you order extra dressing online and the quality is in decline. Bring on the next contender!

I use to love this place but it's horrible service the price is never the same even when you get the same thing the workers don't understand what your saying so they do what they want and over charge you

I was disappointed with my salad. Ordered through DoorDash. Delivery was good, but when I opened my salad I had cucumbers which I didn’t order, my apple was brown, and rainbow carrots were sliced terribly (should have been shredded), and I barely got any blue cheese or grapes and the grapes are a bit aged as well. Also, some pieces of the chicken was funky tasting, meaning it too was old. Back to the way they prepped, horrible knife work.

I’m coming here to complain because I was really hungry for a good salad. Disappointed. The salad greens are fresh tho

Someone or something needs to be fixed.
