Miyako Hotel Los Angeles

Love this hotel! Clean rooms and cool design! The pool was great, and they did an outdoor movie at night. They had games out (football, etc.) to play. Beautiful views, and nice to walk around (right up the street from The Brady Bunch house). Grocery store (Ralph's) near by, and really close to Universal Studios. Restaurant is pricey, but worth the money, best breakfast buffet I've ever had! We would definitely stay here again!

We reserved this place so that we can walk to Japanese Village Plaza in Little Tokyo with 2 toddlers and my pregnant wife. There was a few things that made the stay a little less pleasant.
They have valet parking but do not reserve it for guests, anyone can bring their vehicles in. It would be nice on busy days like New Years to have exclusive parking.
One of the elevators didn't work, there's long lines to wait to get up to your room.
The front desk staff just gave me my key. I had to ask if they had a restaurant, there is. I had to keep asking, where is it? Is it open tomorrow? Is the downstairs cafe open tomorrow? Only short answers. I think they would have been friendlier to my Japanese wife. I felt rushed and checked behind me, nobody was in line.
The room was clean, view was nice. Everything is older but mostly well kept.

This hotel was amazing, the staff are super nice and accommodating. The room was so clean. Great experience plus it's close to amazing food!

One can get overwhelmed with the many hotel choices when visiting LA, so I was especially excited to have found this amazing Jewel in the center of little Tokyo. Miyako Hotel is a must stay when in town. There so much you get when staying here. The Valet is super helpful they made it smooth and easy to unload and go directly to checkin. That too was a breeze the staff was amazing, in fact they are the reason I will be a return customer. We stayed in a Deluxe Double room, it was clean with comfy beds and beautiful views of the city and snow capped mountains. We also loved that there were lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I can't wait to visit again.

I was extremely disappointed how the Miyako handled a situation where one of our gift bags was thrown away by the staff. I get it, accidents happen, but the staff could not have been more rude or less understanding. At first, the lady who worked at the front desk was very nice and let me know that we couldn't look through the garbage because the trash had already been taken out, but she said she would speak to a manager and see how they could help. However, the next day the situation completely spiraled when I had to deal with Harpan, another employee who works at the front desk.
First of all, he wouldn't let me speak directly to the manager. He kept leaving our conversation to go "consult" but never let me meet the person in charge. Then, he claimed that the reason why the manager had decided they couldn't help me is because they believed we could be lying. He assured me that none of the staff had thrown it away (having never actually asked anyone), and told me that there was nothing that they could do because it is more likely that "I had just lost it. " There was about $200 worth of gifts for my girlfriend that hadn't even been opened yet, and I was absolutely willing to dig through as many trash bags as it took to find it. Still, Harpan and "the manager" refused to work with me in any sort of way and denied any responsibility for the gift bag.
I understand if there are extenuating circumstances, but claiming a customer is lying is terrible service. Would not come here again only because of the staff's treatment during this situation and the way Harpan and the manager chose to handle the aftermath. After about 30 minutes of arguing, they settled on waiving one day of parking (a whopping $30 fee) in order to get me to shut up. If the manager had handled this in a remotely considerate way (or actually talked to me), I would have no problem recommending the Miyako. Sad to see an otherwise pleasant stay ruined by the staff.

I hold a lot of events here as well as stay as a guest. The venue is beautiful. The manager of the resturaunt is amazing! The receptionist, Maddy made our anniversary stay there an incredible experience! I only took one star off for their billing department and administrative follow up regarding business events.

The food was extraordinary particularly the chicken and the pork tummy. The help was mindful and well disposed! I will clearly prescribe this to the entirety of my loved ones. A most agreeable stay! Emphatically prescribed to all!

With a well disposed face, the secretary will invite you. Since the rooms have been totally cleaned, you ought to have the option to unwind and partake in your visit.

Great place to stay! Only 1 mins away from little Tokyo. Tons of Japanese restaurants are nearby. Services are fast and good. Only disappointment is their elevator. Only one elevator is available and level 4 light is broken.

This was a very nice hotel that I picked through a search! What a gem to find! Great location and neighborhood! The hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel was quiet and the rooms were exceptional in amenities and cleanliness! There is a great cafe in the lobby, and a restaurant in the hotel. I didn’t have a chance to eat there, but I’m sure it is wonderful! Shop across the street for convenience items! Many many restaurants just steps away! I will stay here again! The view from my room was spectacular!

I am really glad with what I have encountered at this inn since I was dealt with impeccably by their staff! They assisted me with everything and I am thankful to them enough for the help they provided for me! Highly suggested!

Such a great location, excellent service, and beautiful hotel. It needs its fixtures updated though, our toilets functions are broken.

Highly recommended for both meetings and friends as well for having an excellent atmosphere. The most reputable hotel ever! Great service and pricing. The quality of service they provided was perfectly good as expected. Worth it to pay for! No hidden charges compared to others! We stayed there last weeks 24th years our Anniversary on 9/7 to 9/10 for 3 days.we love it Everyone super helpful i will be coming back again on my next Anniversary.

This hotel was awesome! My stay here was wonderful and I got the most relaxing day of my life. I am heartily impressed by how they handled the service correctly with no hassles at all.
