The food here is amazing. Everything on the menu is fantastic. The courtyard is a great place to eat while hanging with friends. They have heaters too so it's not cold, even at night.

Mizlala is a real sleeper, well-known to the locals but I was visiting. We were so lucky to feast on its delicious ME food. Apart from the usual (which were delicious), we especially enjoyed the cauliflower grilled in olive oil and zartar!

I had to try this little eatery on a warm Summer evening. The ambience is lovely. The kitchen sits in the back and it is small but always bustling with movement. You have to walk through the outdoor only dining area complete with potted Olive trees to place your order or peruse the menu. It's nice, clandestine and inviting.
The young lady who took our order did not smile and seemed to have a perpetual scowl on her face. She was not very warm and friendly when I first met her. I went back a second time and she was a bit more welcoming but thank goodness the food is delicious or I would not keep coming back. She isn't the reason you go anyways (the guy that takes the orders as well is way nicer and friendlier).
I ordered the chicken plate with salad but my date got his usual salmon plate and let me tell you.after sampling his meal, I was disappointed I didn't just follow his lead. The chicken was tasty and very good but that salmon! Wow.nicely cooked and seasoned and just DELICIOUS! We also ordered the brussel sprouts and those are delicious as well.
I've gone back two more times after my initial visit to get the salmon and brussel sprouts.
Things to consider: check your food before you leave. They missed my rice the second time I ordered and forgot my pita bread. They kinda apologized but basically told me to check my food. I'm passing that advice on to you.
You have to grab the plastic utensils and napkins yourself as they do not add that to the bag.
The salmon is 20 something and the Brussels are 10 something.so you are paying close to 40 for one meal but it is worth it.
Parking is terrible.
Dine in at least once to enjoy the ambience.
Happy Eating!

One of my favorite spots! The veggie sides are underrated - do not miss the brussels sprouts! I love the broccoli and mushrooms too. The tahini shake is also amazing.

I can't rave enough about Mizlala West Adams restaurant. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the warm and inviting ambiance. The soft Mediterranean music playing in the background added a charming touch to the atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a romantic date night. Service here is truly exceptional. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge of the menu were impressive. They made excellent recommendations, and their promptness in attending to our needs made the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Now, let's talk about the food. It was nothing short of a gastronomic journey. Each dish was a burst of Mediterranean flavors, and the presentation was exquisite. The grilled octopus was tender, the baklava was heavenly, and the lamb tagine was a true standout. In summary, this Mediterranean restaurant checks all the boxes for a memorable dining experience – ambiance, service, and outstanding food. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a taste of the Mediterranean in a cozy and welcoming setting.

One of my favourite middle eastern restaurants in LA. Only downfall is that since Covid they now use plastic plates and cups etc

Amazing food! One of my favorite spots in Culver City. The grilled salmon is what I always get. Also try the broccoli dish and the mushroom dish. Everything is outstanding there

Patio seating. The table we sat at to eat our food was dirty and uninviting. Will do take out in the future.

Truly sensational. Must try.
I got the Falafel Pita, the dish comes with the choice of ‘pickles and amba’, I chose pickled cabbage and Tahina. (I didn’t ask if it was plant based and dairy free, but usually this is at most falafel places)

I try to try falafel at as many spots as I can, this spot’s sandwich is filling, and has—I believe—some kraut in it, and it is just amazing. The balance of textures and acidities, nutty fats from the tahina sauce, crunchy thick-outside-falafel, some sort of fresh sprigs of greens in there, tom-cucumber salad, Somehow they pack all these beautiful ingredients into the pita, and it works like magic. The presentation/build of the pita) despite coming out on compostable plates, is clearly intentional and has serious care behind it (or at least I felt that way, lol, though I didn’t take a picture, smh.)

I often get plates instead of pita sandwiches at Mediterranean restaurants similar to this, out of fear of the pita not being enough food. That was not the case here. I can put away food and this was satiating and perfect.

The pickled cabbage was mind altering. I think it had like a yellow curry component to it, and a touch of heat, just the depth of the flavor of the freakin pickled cabbage is worth coming to this place for.

There was also a small green hot sauce (also had a bit of a pickle-esc ferment component to it) I believe it’s called zhug, and it WAS ALSO MIND-ALTERINGLY GOOD.

I get the sense the ferments here are a serious project (maybe?) I look forward to exploring.

Food came out in like 10minutes or something crazy fast. Can’t wait to come again.

Also they have tahini shakes, for the diary-free shake folks.:)

Went to lunch with my 5 month old and my 91 year old grandma.

With that said, food was okay. Ambience was okay. Music a bit too loud but not offensive.

Would go again, just not with a 5 month old and his 91 year old great grandma.

I really want to give this place 5 stars. The food, when done correctly, is absolutely incredible. However, inconsistent cooking and regularly forgotten items make me second guess whether or not it's worth making the drive. The last 3 visits have resulted in forgotten soup, forgotten pita, and very late mushrooms that arrived charred so badly they were inedible. Give it a shot, hope they're "on" the day you go!

One of the best shawarma sandwiches I've had in LA. Very authentic. Service could have been better though. We stood in front of the register for 5 minutes waiting to order with nobody else in line. The staff seemed out of it and uninterested in working.

There was so many flys on the patio! Open trash cans everywhere. A fly would land on our food every other second and we had to shoo them away. Made our experience less enjoyable. You guys need to invest in fly traps of some sort!

The food was delicious & the staff was professional & courteous. My only real issues were the peppers hidden under the chicken shawarma & onions, and the difficulty with parking in the area. Many people, myself included, have digestive issues with peppers.
Edit: Went back again, ate there & explained that I cannot eat peppers. It took three times for them to get it right (no peppers in, under, or on top). If only the food wasn't so delicious.

Miz La La is an ideal place for pampering your taste buds and for introducing visiting family and friends to the best that LA has to offer. The ambiance is comfortable to be with friends and cozy enough to take a date. The menu has options for vegetarians and carnivores. My favorites are the falafel, chicken shawarma, and fries. Do try all the small salads they have. There is usually street parking available, but during busy hours, you may have to park down the block. The food is simply healthy and tasty. Some portions are very generous.

Outdoor dining only, but love their vibe! Food is amazing! I have no idea that cauliflower and brussel sprouts can taste that good! Limited menu, but they perfected what they serve! Parking is a little tricky. There is a free parking garage across the street from Tartine though

Just giving 3 stars because:
- we had two orders but they came in different times.and the latest came the coldest (?) and some of my falafels were just burnt.
- I know it’s the end of the shift and people just want to go home but what’s wrong with being nice to a costumer? Cashier was just not being really welcoming.
- the other plate was fine! Which made our experience bittersweet.anyways…best of luck, guys!
