Mizukiyama Sushi, San Diego CA

I just came back from a vacation in Japan and wanted to compare my local Japanese restaurants to what I had in Japan. This restaurant has great food — the sashimi was fresh and the nigiri was expertly formed and shaped. The tempura in my udon was not as crispy as I perhaps would have liked, but this is a sushi restaurant after all. Would definitely come back!

I had a very pleasant experience with the waiter named Jaemoon. He came to us very big smile and met our needs, the food was great and up to the expectation.

This is a sushi restaurant run by Koreans. You can eat sushi, sashimi, ramen, udon, rolls, etc. The food is clean and delicious. If you visit between 3: 30 and 5: 30, you can enjoy it at a low price.

Sushi is great every time. Owner even visited our table with a large bottle of sake to share!

This restaurant is amazing. The staff was super approachable and friendly, and we got our food very quickly after we ordered. Everyone in my group greatly enjoyed their meal, as the flavors were indulgent and very well-balanced! I had the Chicken Yakisoba and I would highly recommend it.

Love this place, food is great, dining environment is awesome, not very loud, chair is very comfy. Will definitely visit next time.

Real fresh sashimi with sake.also their special dish the name is Mul -hwoe? Sashimi, vegetables with special cold soup. The taste is fantastic.

I really enjoy the sushi. They have a wide variety of different types that can cater to anyone’s tastes. Simple or fancy, you’ll have a great time eating here. The atmosphere is really cool, and you’ll have a great time sitting here away from the heat. I really recommend this place!

They have a happy hour from (3: 30pm-530pm)
The rolls you get from happy hour are basic but are not bad for price. We got the crunchroll with cream cheese, scallop, spicy tuna, and Mexican roll. The house rolls or special rolls are done well and is worth ordering if your never tried them. This place is a good choice to pick from when your walking around one paseo and the cooks are very nice and professional.
