Moby Dick Restaurant reviews
16Waiter came to take our order and only showed up to give us our bill. The lobster roll was a joke. There was alot more cabbage in there and barely any lobster.
Food was okay, is not something I would come back to. It was nice to try it, have the experience, might be different for you. Service was amazing, very attentive and timely. Atmosphere, I sat outside in the shade and I loved it, it was a good day weather wise. Calamari’s were good, i felt the freshness. The Lobster roll didn’t feel fresh for some reason and the seafood roll was really good, except the bread I didn’t think it was a good mix, I would have preferred it over a taco or burrito.
We only had coffee but if I liked seafood I would have ate there. The waiter was awesome especially since we, weren't his biggest sale. It had a lovely view from out on the patio.
Great for sunset dining by the wharf, fresh oyster, the whole fish grilled in perfection great for sharing, 90 minutes free parking.
The four of us ordered five seafood dishes brunch along with two coffees slightly before 11am. The coffee servings were quite small (30 oz cups). After one of the coffee was refilled, it was spoiled by bad cream. When we requested if they can take the the spoiled coffee off the bill, the management declined, citing that it was a refill. On a positive note, our server, Josef, was very attentive and courteous.
Service was excellent. We had a party of 5 plus a baby. Our waiter was excellent. Prices not terrible for a restaurant on the pier.
Chicken sandwich was better than fish and chips, which were oily and heavy. Clam chowder was good.
Been here several times over the last 10 years when we travel to Santa Barbara and Solvang. This last time everything was great, the service was awesome and food was great as usual. Recommend the Seafood roll and the clam chowder.
Good view, good eats, great service! Came here due to my boyfriend's first visit to Santa Barbara! The food was great and freshly made.our server was very courteous and attentive to any of our needs and wants. Would definitely come here again
Good location, right on the pier. You can get a table overlooking the water with a great view of the marina as the boats and variety of sea life comes and goes. Food is good, and for the location prices are fair.
Lee knocked it out of the park. Very attentive staff, seated quickly, excellent food and drinks. Beautiful views as well.
Food was alright, you pay for the atmosphere and location. Service was great! It’s a nice place to sit and eat and enjoy the view.
Best time ever. Food was great. Service was excellent. I would put 10+stars due to Lee excellent customer service. She made us feel welcome and well taken care of. If you want to treat your love one to a wonderful meal and service go to this place and you won't be disappointed. Management please give Lee a raise she is a prime example of excellent customer service. She cares about her customers and go above and beyond. She even sing happy birthday to my husband and made it so special. Thank you Lee, Santa Barbara is now our favorite place to go.
We took the Amtrak to the pier area to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. This restaurant was awesome in every way. They accommodated us right away with no reservations. We shared the ceviche which was excellent. I had the fish tacos and they were delicious. My husband had clam chowder and salad. He loved the chowder. We'll come here again when we visit the area.
Food has little flavor. Not worth the cost of the plate. We got full but our taste buds weren't satisfied. We had four adults in our party and all got something different.
First, The restaurant is not clean. And food was not a good quality. I ordered a clams with chips, they was very dried, and not fresh, looks like they reheated that food. Cleaning in this restaurant is and server not paid attention what I had in my cup, and He damped a water on my sprite. I will never go this place again. The restaurants owners should have a great customer service, So their business can grow, otherwise it will not last longer.
