MOD Pizza, Napa CA

They supposedly close at 10 pm but they always close earlier because they start cleaning and they don't want to serve the customers that are arriving, it doesn't matter if there are 10 or 20 minutes left before closing, they just don't care to attend and they want to leave early, it's better change the closing time

Best pizza on the go. Quick, easy and any topping you want. Can't go wrong, try the cauliflower crust.

Saw an older bald man with tattoos on his head smoking outside the front of the building. Heard him cursing on the phone and didn't think much of it. He goes inside before I do and doesn't even wash his hands before getting ready to prepare food, turns out he's the manager.

I love the place but that's unsanitary and the smoking in the front is repulsive. I use to bring my family here.

Ingredients have gone to good when it open to.poor quality ingredients and service lack.pizza are smaller and your still paying the same price.

I bought a very special pizza because it is gluten-free but there are regular pizzas and you can order what people like

Editing my review because they used to make better pizzas. They took care of customers and cared about the quality of pizza they put out. But now.
A little cheese - just in the middle? Put that S@$# towards the crust for a better tasting pizza! Don't be lazy, spread it around.
I asked for "lite sauce, heavy pineapple" and all I see is pesto. (Refer to 1st photo for reference of how it used to be.) I wish they still put the pesto sauce on using the spoon with the holes in it. Ever since they switched to a squeeze bottle, they put way too much on.
And for asking for lots of pineapple, it has hardly any on here. It's only one topping guys. Come on. What's your problem? Or, put more spaces in your app to write so we don't have to get creative with the wording and we can be more clear.

It tasted "ok", but it doesn't make me want to come back. I don't feel appreciated as a customer anymore. I wish I hadn't have pre-tipped them.

Staff seems Narcissist or over the top psycopaths who don't know how to make pizza. If you going to mess up someone order and be a Narcissist than stay home don't deserve to work in an enviroment where you don't belong.

Ate outside today since it was too cool inside. Make your custom pizza, it cooks so fast, it's a favorite place that we can accommodate different diet restrictions.

Was a fan of this place. Now the staff are uncooperative and negligent. The girl who made my pizza put 1 ring of onion and 4 jalapeños and 4 mushrooms on my pizza. She ignored my request to put more.

Total hit or miss on this location. Depends on the staff. Was waiting in line for 20min and then when I was 3 people from ordering I noticed they were ignoring all the elderly people in front of me and a black man. I spoke up and said why aren’t you taking anyone’s orders but you’re still making food. The girls making the pizzas said we have to make online orders first and there are a lot of them. I said wait, you have to make online orders as I am saying this the manager (big white dude wearing a red baseball cap backwards) brings over 6 (yes I counted) new online orders and put the tickets next to where they were making the pizzas. I said wait, so you are saying if I stand here and order my pizza or these people order their pizzas on their phones they will be helped first? All the employees making the pizzas said it’s company policy and some of these tickets ordered 18min ago, the black guy in front of me said well I have been waiting 25min in line and I know I had been waiting at least 20min. I was thinking eta “maybe if the people in front of me were younger and a different color they would take inline customers orders. ” And then they started people pizza that were in line. Then some red haired girl in a yellow beanie comes in from the back off of her break and starts to yell at everyone in line “just telling everyone that it’s going to be a little while. ”
Time to reevaluate your policy and definitely retrain.

This MOD is terrible. Staff were clueless. Pizza way undercooked like eating a dough soup. Where is the management here? From beginning to end the experience here was awful. (Other MOD’s are not like this! Save your money and get something good to eat in town where your patronage is appreciated and there is management oversight on the items being served)

Update: none of the below original review applies here any longer, sadly. The place has gone downhill so rapidly and consistently, I won't eat here anymore. Employees are always too high to function, service is non-existent, and pizza is always cold and wrong somehow.

Love this pizza place! Super affordable and not your typical topping choices; exactly what I want. You don't have to worry about agreeing on toppings or sauce because everyone gets their own. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or avid carnivore, plenty of options for the pickiest pizza fan. They also whip up a delicious cesear salad and their old fashioned lemonade and teas are worth stopping for all on their own. With the many sauce and topping options you could eat there 5 nights a week and have something completely different every time. They have a real pizza oven which I expect is what makes the crust so good. The employees seem to have a good time working there and are super friendly. If you miss Silverado pizzeria, give mod a try.

I used to love mod pizza in Napa. It's terrible. Staff seemed to be clueless & very high. Normally I'm fine with ppl working high if they are a true functioning stoner (many think they are, they are not). I was disappointed in my pizza too.

Nice place. Good pizza and salad. Update, 11.7.22 add mini and mega crusts. Mini is thin, mega is thicker. Still good pizza.

Unfortunately, very rude staff. Made my order completely wrong and burned it, staff not only refused to remake it but also refused to give a refund.

Don't have one in Vegas but when I go to see my sister in Napa I definitely hit it up
