Modern Laundromat & Cleaners, El Centro CA

The dirtiest laundromat I’ve encountered in years. First machine I opened had black mold. Looks like this place has not been cleaned in years. I’m shocked it’s open. There is nothing modern about this place either. I counted 8 washing machines that were out of service. I did not end up washing here.

Tried going here and the staff was rude. The hours posted online are incorrect and they communicated that they were closed aggressively.

This community most be very hard on washing machines. This is my second laundromat I went to today looking to wash my clothing. The other one I first went to had lots of machines broken down and they had no laundry supplies for sale. This one here has a large number of machines out of order. Sad for a busy Saturday. But they have on duty staff who are very polite and helpful considering all. They do sell laundry supplies and I was able to wait for a machine, purchase some laundry supplies and complete my small load of laundry. Traveling through here to go across country

Just passing through and needed to do laundry This place was icky and old at least 5 of the 6 machines were out of order on one side the rest were old and there were no front load washer I would not recommend this place

They don't have enough commercial machines here for a semi busy crowd. If you just need to do front loader washing on a home model then this is the place.

Nice full service laundromat. I was able to get all my clothes clean at a decent price. Thank you.

I was there about five months and the place was not awesome but ok.lI went last week and the place smells fungus. The washer machines were dirty, specially the soap containers, they have fungus and are dirty. Many driers are rusted, a few washer machines were watering.l didn't have option but use them.but l'll never go back.

If your looking for a place to just dry your clothes this is not the place. Apparently you can’t use the dryers if you want to dry your clothes. I don’t know how it can be a laundry place and not offer drying services.

Compared to Green Dryclearners this place is a mess they’re hale laundromat and “half” and I cuote it because the dry cleaners only has 2 machines and wanted to charge my $16.45. So I took it to Green Dry Cleaners where everything was clean and in working order picked up my coat fresh, no lint and not a stain and only for $7.34

Great prices not as modern as you'd think based on the name but they have front and top loaders for a great price as far as I know. I haven't used laundromat often but this was the best priced one I've been to that I can remember

The laundromat on 12th Street is always packed no matter what time of the day. This Laundromat is never crowded. Yeah they have a lot of old machines but the dryers work a lot better as well.

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE IN THE VALLEY. ITS HOT MY CLOTHES NEEDED TO BE DRIED I LITTLE MORE SO I GO ON LINE TO FIND LAUNDRY MAT I FIND ONE AT THE VONS CENTER" MODERN LAUNDROMAT" SO IAM CARRING MY CLOTHES IN GET NEXT TO DRYER TO USE AN THIS GUY OR OWNER TILLS ME I CANT DRY THERE BECAUSE I DIDNT WASH THERE. SO I HAVE TO LEAVE I AM STUNNED IVE FLOORED THIS PLACE NEED TO LEARN MONEY IS MONEY UNBELIEVABLE DONT RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE

Firstly this place is modern.if the year was 1989. TONS of out of service machines including the coin machine. It is as clean as one can expect a coin laundry to be. Not bad price for basic wash ($1.75). 25 cents per 5 mins on the dryers. I hope the owners put some money into the place then it would really be something.

I think is crazy to drop your clothes off at 3 pm and you agree to pay the 1.50 a pound and you can't get your clothes back till the next day.really then you see the lady bringing her own clothes out the trunk of her car to wash them no ma'am.very suspect

I drop off my cloths once a week. I am unable to walk so someone comes out a grabs my laundry for me. The staff has always been respectful and polite to me. They are always on time and me laundry is folded and hung up. Prices are very reasonable. Dont know what I would do without them.

Well maintained, reasonably clean, friendly, dry cleaning and wash, fold, and iron services. Free Wi-Fi.

Update. Used their wash and fold service today. Wow, they will have us as steady customers. Excellent. Everything was clean, folded perfectly, shirts and dresses ironed and on hangers, everything matched up - even my many pairs of short black socks that look similar but aren't. The price is close to what we pay in quarters and detergent to do the work ourselves. They did it right.

Clean, has wifi, helpful employee. Does get very busy and congested as this spot is small.
