Modesto Police Department

Saw 2 guys opened our apartment mail box's and steal mail all caught on camera so I started following these 2 thief’s on the road called 911 right away hoping to get someone there right away yet the idiotic 911 dispatcher told me a officer was going to come by my house for a police report 30 minutes later by that time they will be no longer need.

Your department is a joke. You guys like to believe your brave but in reality you’re all scared. You sign up for a job knowing full well what it requires but freak out when someone throws a book at you.

Don’t bother applying here for a job as a police officer, if you have tattoos on your arms or hands. They discriminate against that. Its a new era come on Modesto what a waste of time.

They were very gentle when they handcuffed me, and there patrol vehicles are incredible roomy. Overall, very professional. Will get arrested by them again, for sure.

Every time I have called the they are very short and rude. No phone etiquette at all. Why do people like this work for our police department's. That's stuff doesn't fly at my place of work. You've got to give respect before you get it. Have a good day

No good service is bad I needed to make a report and get a release from all they said is can't give personal information I get that but I'm trying to find my missing relatives I've been coming and going multiple times and nothing is resolved it sucks all they are good for is giving out tickets

This place is no good to get help i was in need to locate my missing relatives and they didn't know what to do or say i was better off looking in the darkweb 3 days at pd and nothing and 30 min at darkweb and i found everything i needed to know

Called the emergency number 911 and there Modesto police department. They hopeless god bless America I was told someone is going to call but nothing happened. Or may we been Indian not white. They don't respond
Later a police officer called that we will note things n told that they have threatened that they will to we my car. And my car was parked on the right address by the road side but not there car.

Rumor has it that this dept covered up the sexual assault over at Burbank Elementary. If you think I'm full of it, then look into yourself.

My wallet was handed in to the Police station after I lost it. 2 police officers came to my home to let me know I can claim it at the police station. All the officers I dealt with was friendly and courtious. Our police do an amazing job every day. Thank you to all the members of the Modesto police department.

My husband and I have been stranded in a parking lot for days.
When 3 officers came by to investigate an incident, two walked over to ask what we had witnessed. One of the officers asked how it happened that we became stranded. We told him the truth of how not through our own fault, we had lost our rental, and how recently, my husband's pension cheque had been mangled by Walmart's check reader, and how they refused to make their mistake right.
We needed the money to repair our car. We would now have to wait for his unemployment cheque which was days away. My husband is disabled with severe scoliosis, and I have multiple sclerosis and lupus, with heart and kidney failure.
This officer left, and returned to give us a gift card for groceries.
We will never forget the compassion and kindness this man showed us. He didn't judge, but instead followed the teaching of Christ, whether he was a Christian or not.
God bless him, and our men and women in blue who risk their lives daily to keep us safe.

This Place was very cool, The inside was pretty modern. The cops didn’t deport me although I was Mexican. They have good wifi inside although its a bit hard to text when you have cuffs on. The handcuffs weren’t as tight on me & Officer Philled Wittcum, Officer Ra Pouv & Gaylan Carol offered to make out with me:) They’re vehicles were pretty roomy & i had a nice conversation with them aswell. I loved it. Definitely would get arrested again. Nice experince
