16Food tastes really bad. I was disappointed. Service was okay. There are better mazemen out there.
Great variation on Japanese style noodles.
Can get a little spicy (spicier than I thought), overall very delicious!
LA is best known for all kinds of food. The noodles is amazingly delicious. Reservations is recommended. Fully packed
I am Japanese and I think this place has the best ramen in west LA!
I come here for the deluxe mazemen quite often. Food comes quick and is always consistently satisfying.
Small, cozy place with a great mazemen experience! I had never tried mazemen before and this was a very approachable, delicious first bowl. So unique and soooo delicious
This is by far my favorite place for Mazemen (Japanese brothless mixed noodles)
Food: I ordered Deluxe Mazemen. You MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS/STEPS to unlock it's full potential!
1) Crack the poached egg and mix all the ingredients together. Eat half the portion
2) Halfway through -> add vinegar. Enjoy a whole new flavor and finish up the noodles.
3) You're not done - add rice to your left over sauce and have your mind blown. Now you're done.
It was so much fun for me as it seemed like I was having 3 different meals in 1.
Service: Good. This place is popular, so do expect to wait a bit.
Ambiance: Casual, not a large seating capacity restaurant. To go is always an option!
It was a little too salty and oily for me. Service and atmosphere were great. Parking in the back.
Need to wait to be served, ordered view ramens and toppings are great but the ramen n soups is so so.
I went in with all the hype but came out a little disappointed. Their deluxe mazemen was good but nothing mind blowing. To breakdown the flavor, it was almost like asian garlic noodle with creamy texture from the egg with thick noodles. Chicken kaarage was alright too.
Parking was limited here. You would need to find street parking. Restaurant is also small, so expect a wait.
It’s definitely very unique flavor. We had the Tokio vegan and the regular one and also the chicken bites as appetizers. Everything was good.
It's very delicious! This is a Japanese style restaurant focusing on MAZESOBA, kind of a noodle dish. You can imagine like Ramen without soup, but much more fun. I recommend Tokyo style MAZESOBA if you are a beginner of this type of restaurant.
Mazemen was great - mixing in the poached egg creates a great texture. The addition of the vinegar adds complexity and finishing up with rice sops up all of the flavorful sauce.
Great authentic Mazesoba! This is pure comfort food for me as a Japanese guy. The taste is on point, the noodles are on point, and they give you a little thing of rice at the end which again is traditionally how it's served in Japan that is called “Oi meshi”, to mix in with the thick soup base that's left at the end just in case you've hadn't had enough carbs lol
The price isn't quite cheap, but moderate. I always get the “Oo-mori”, aka extra noodles.
I love this place. Please don't come here on the nights I want to enjoy these noodles.
Delicious food! Amazing service.
I always get the deluxe mazamen bowl so tasty and flavorful. I would definitely recommend to try! It’s a must everytime I’m in town!
The vegan tokyo mazeman was alright, the avocado & brussel sprouts gave it a weird flavor imo. My partner loved his pork one though. Mogu Chicken appetizer was juicy, crisp and delicious
