Mohka House reviews
17Love that I can finally get a good pot of adeni chai in the area. Great drinks and sweets to go with it
Very friendly staff! Delicious food. There are many pastries and treats you can’t get anywhere else. The coffee and tea offerings are unique as well. So strong and flavorful. We are so lucky Mohka House came to the Dimond the interior is also clean and beautifully styled
Good middle eastern pastries, teas and coffees. Great customer service. Beautiful space with large and small tables, and a living room area that is kid-friendly. I really enjoy coming here to work or connect with friends. Highly recommend.
Amazing atmosphere and service! The worker was so nice.wish i lived closer to come more often.thank you for the blueberry tart
Really tasty pot of Yemeni coffee. The ambience and coffee are relaxing to enjoy with a book or socialize with friends. Highly recommend. There is parking in the parking lot behind the building so can avoid street parking if unavailable
The authentic vibe added a great touch to the atmosphere. Very friendly and welcoming. The pastry and tea was delicious. I highly recommend to visit
An overdue review, but I come here to study since it’s wonderful vibes, open late, and the coffee is reminiscent of how my father would make it for me. I love this place, and will continue to always support.
Great atmosphere, coffee is great and pastries were awesome.this is also one of the best coffee shops in oakland to work at- vibey, spacious, quiet and not too crowded.
Almost $5 for a 8 ounce cup of lukewarm coffee, illicitly charge tax on to-go coffees, but. The atmosphere is mellow, Yemeni themed with plenty of seating and ample plugs, and it's one of the few cafes open late in Oakland.
By far one of our favorite repeat spots in the neighborhood. Beautiful interior, amazing baked goods, and the coffee and teas are so unique and worth the wait.
A serene cafe with top tier espresso (tried the house special, using beans from Yemen), and high quality bakery goods which served warm on a plate. Great vibe. Lots of comfortable seats and great AC. It’s a hidden gem and a must visit in this neighborhood. Dog / pet friendly. Friendly staff. 5 stars for sure.
OK, I can see why they have so many five star reviews. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the location is beautiful and clean, and the service is so welcoming.
Why is their country getting into war? With this sort of welcome, I would imagine everybody would fall in love with them.
What a lovely place! Friendly staff, super helpful in guiding me to a delicious bite! The cheese fatayer is a delightful savory snack. I can't wait to go back and try more of their baked goods! Comfortable couches made the whole experience truly special.
We are so lucky to have a bit of Yemen in the Dimond district. Great cafe, great service. They also carry Reem's California pastries! Hope they become a permanent staple in our area.
Really great service and amazing coffee- I’ll definitely be back for the food which smells amazing
Finally a neighborhood coffee shop I’m excited to treat myself to! The coffee is delicious and the baked goods pair perfectly, with the option to make them more sweet or savory. A special treat worth going out for.
I sat and watched as my vegan friend enjoyed a spinach pastry and a coffee she was also quite enthusiastic about. Third person review.
