3 I've lived here for 21 years and can say the current manager has been the BEST long term managers of all the managers they've had. Matthew takes care of maintenance requests promptly and if something can't be taken care of or completed on maintenance day, he communicates that with me.
The only drawback is that over the years, the apartments have been upgraded and the carpet replaced with "wood" flooring. Looks great, however now when my neighbors upstairs move their furniture around or walk, it's loud at times. There's no padding in between to muffle the sound.
Top-notch management of a classic two-story Southern California apartment complex and friendly community that is excellent for college students, singles, and new couples. Wonderful memories for the years we lived there between graduate school and buying our first home.
Had lived in a studio here years ago and now have been in a Jr 1 bedroom for about 3 years. Compared to other apartments in Northridge, this complex is fairly priced, clean, and in a good neighborhood, which is why I came back. What makes the property most appealing is the current management, Matt and Lindsey. Matt is very attentive and responds to questions or requests quickly and always follows up. No issues have ever taken too long to take care of and the property itself has improved over the years under both of them. Appliances get upgraded, landscaping is well maintained, and general peace and safety around the complex seem to be priority, which is refreshing. It's obvious that the needs and feedback of all tenants are heard, as improvements are not just promises but effective actions taken. Super happy living here and have Matt and Lindsey to thank for that. Would have given 5 stars if the units were larger with more closet space, parking was easier for a 2nd car, and if noise from upstairs units was not a problem.
