It's not everyday you find a doctor like Dr. Orady. After months of researching providers specializing in endometriosis treatment, my intuition told me that Dr. Orady would be the right doctor for me. Not only is she an extremely well regarded expert in her field, she is also incredibly kind and personable.

I was searching for a highly skilled surgeon who would work with me as a partner (not as a dictator) in my treatment, and Dr. Orady did not disappoint.

Dr. Orady worked extensively with me to develop a clear treatment plan. We both agreed that surgery would be the next best step in this plan. Before the surgery, Dr. Orady and I carefully combed through my thoughts and wishes to ensure we had a solid plan before scheduling the procedure. One of the best experiences during this entire process was feeling heard and respected by Dr. Orady whenever I expressed my own knowledge and feelings regarding my condition and treatment options. This was a significant key in creating the sense of trust and safety I felt with Dr. Orady.

Another reason I felt such a strong sense of trust with Dr. Orady was her display of determination, this sense that failure is not an option when she has a goal in mind. A very nice trait to see in your doctor, especially if they are also your surgeon. Not only did this leave me with a feeling that she would provide the best surgical results possible but I was also left feeling there was no better provider to trust with my life while in the operating room. Of course, I can't imagine any doctor who wouldn't do their best to avoid mistakes when caring for patients, but once you see Dr. Orady in action, you'll understand what I'm explaining here.

After a great deal of planning, surgery day finally arrived. Going under general anesthesia is enough to make anyone nervous but the trust I felt for Dr. Orady and her team at St. Francis Memorial Hospital (including her PA, Grace Banks) significantly outweighed my fears. The morning of the procedure, Dr. Orady held my hand and reassured me that I would be well taken care of, and she was right.everything went incredibly well!

During the surgery, Dr. Orady was able to remove a significant amount of endometriosis and endometriomas, including the largest - around 18 cm. This was all done laparoscopically, which is amazing! I feel so much lighter, so much better! I am extremely grateful to Dr. Orady and her team.

I would like to end this review by saying that, of course, every point of communication matters when a patient engages with a healthcare provider. Good communication helps the patient feel safe. However, mistakes occur when dealing with any business/provider/human, and if you feel as though someone in Dr. Orady's office has made a mistake, I suggest discussing the issue with Dr. Orady, as she is the type of person who will want to make it right. Also, remember, it won't be the office staff performing any aspect of your actual treatment (surgery, etc.), so I recommend keeping the bigger picture in mind, and focusing on the most important elements of care when deciding whether you'll choose Dr. Orady as your provider. In doing so, you'll eventually see Dr. Orady in person and discover, as I did, she truly is exceptional.

Called more than 4x to have them send a Quest lab referral. There were multiple follow up calls for another test. That lab never received my lab specimen given at Mona Orady/Grace Banks office. Their office needs organizational help. Grace Banks walked into the room and was expecting another patient. I chose them bc they are in network. Nothing about dealing with this office has been easy.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a clinic: long waits and racial microaggressions.

I waited almost 2 hours for an appointment with Dr Orady and ended up leaving without even seeing her. There was little communication about when I would actually see Dr Orady.

During patient intake, the nurse (non-POC) attempted to pronounce my name with Chinese pronunciation vs Americanized. When I only responded to the Americanized version, she then proceeded to go down a line of questioning around if I speak Chinese and where I was born. She made a comment about how I have “no accent” and then when I told her that I immigrated to America when I was a baby, she asked if I was adopted, lol.

The clinic is located in San Francisco where there are A LOT of Asians with “no accents. ” Most of all, it’s totally inappropriate to assume that someone is adopted based on country of birth.

I picked this clinic because it’s led by a female of color, so having this type of exchange caught me off guard. The entire experience was bewildering and will not be going back.

From the onset, visiting Dr. Mona Orady's clinic felt like a breath of fresh air. It's not every day you encounter a medical professional who seamlessly blends expertise with empathy, but that’s precisely what Dr. Orady offers.

From the start, her staff exhibited nothing but kindness and efficiency. You can tell she pays special attention to detail with things like aromatherapy, music, and a calming fountain in the waiting room.

Meeting Dr. Orady was the highlight of the visit. Her wealth of knowledge in the field of gynecology is evident, but it's her approach to patient care that truly stands out. She patiently listened to all my concerns, addressed each query with clarity, and provided insights that were both valuable and easily comprehensible. The examination was conducted with the utmost delicacy, with Dr. Orady continuously ensuring my comfort and understanding at each juncture.

Her genuine concern for my well-being was palpable, and it's this dedication to her patients that makes her stand out. She not only provided medical solutions but also gave me guidance, resources, and knowledge to make informed decisions about my health in the future.

Dr. Mona Orady's clinic is a testament to what healthcare should aspire to be - a combination of cutting-edge expertise, patient-centered care, and genuine compassion. I left with a sense of gratitude and trust, knowing that I'm in the best hands. I would highly recommend Dr. Orady to anyone in search of top-tier gynecological care.

I just had to share my experience with Dr. Mona Orady. I went in very nervous as i have been struggling with symptoms for years and not had answers but her clinic and team just put me right at ease. Her office manager Jolieta was especially kind in explaining the wait times and paperwork required. Dr. Orady listened to all my concerns and explained everything to me very clearly. She even did an ultrasound right then and there and showed me exactly what was going on. I needed a polyp removal, and she did it right there in the clinic that day. The actual removal took less than 5 minutes, and I didn't have to go under general anesthesia which no other gynecologist prior had offered me a choice of. She also helped me confirm a diagnosis of endometriosis which other doctors had been overlooking for years. Dr. Orady has literally ended a ten year cycle of unexplained symptoms and pain within one visit. She is truly an expert in her field. My only regret is that i did not find her sooner. I immediately recommended her to my sisters, mom, and friends. I definitely recommend her for any gynecologic needs!

I have been seeing Dr. Orady since early 2020, and I can’t say enough good things about her. I have been dealing with a severe condition of uterine fibroids almost my entire adulthood. As my husband and I tried to grow our family, we knew that we had a nearly impossible battle to fight to conceive naturally. After consulting with many doctors, we decided to go with Dr. Orady to work on removing the fibroids and to maximize our chances of pregnancy. Dr. Orady examined me and my history, and was immediately on board to fight for a chance with us. Over the past 3.5 years and after numerous surgeries, we can honestly say we fought hard, and did everything we could with Dr. Orady's help. It was not a success story at the end, but we are at peace with the process and the outcome, knowing we tried our best. Also, everyone I spoke to, such as my primary care doctor, fertility doctor, nurses at the operating room, only had good things to say. One of the OR nurses was talking to me as I was rolled into the OR. After she learned my history, the nurse told me that Dr. Orady is the exact doctor I want to operate on me in my case. I can’t agree any more. Go see her if you need OB help, she will be your best ally and guide.

I am so grateful I found Dr. Orady and her team in 2019. After years of debilitating pain that significantly impacted my work and my life, she gave me back hope by recognizing, diagnosing, and treating my severe endometriosis. She made me feel heard and understood. She never minimized my experience. She could identify issues via ultrasound (she performs them herself) that no one else could and her surgical skills were exceptional. Don't waste years on office visits or procedures with doctors who don't know what they are doing, or worse, who make you feel hopeless. Instead, put your trust in Dr. Orady. She won't let you down!

Where do I even start? Has your doctor, a world class surgeon, given you their cellphone number? Dr Orady saved my life and gave me my life back too. I suffered from chronic pain for over 15 years, I was medically gaslighted and told my period pain and infertility were “normal” I was constantly just given pain killers even as a 15 year old. I finally decided to pay Dr Orady a visit in February 2021, she sat next to me while her PA, Grace Banks, took notes and they both validated what I was suffering through and right then and there we booked my surgery date for March. I shouted from the rooftops that I finally had an answer to what I was going through that my pain, discomfort etc was caused by something and that healing was on the horizon.

After I woke up from surgery I discovered things did not go as planned and my endometriosis was stage 4, meaning it progressed to other organs including my rectum, bladder, my ovaries, pelvic wall and in the muscle of my uterus. When all this was explained to me all I could do was cry. Tears of relief for finally having an answer and having most of the disease removed from my body and tears of anger for not being heard sooner. I am glad that I did end up in the best care with Dr Orady and her team and I sing her praises any chance I get. Because of my successful surgery I was finally able to conceive. I recommend Dr Orady to family, friends, strangers and anyone who will listen. Your pain, your infertility, everything you’ve been dismissed about has a reason and Dr Orady and her team will help you find it!

I met Dr Orady at a Summit, she spoke to me with concern and compassion, without hesitation asked me to send her my records. I'm from Florida so I thought, no way will I be able to do this! Dr Orady listened to me and believed what I was saying! I had surgery over a year ago, I regained my quality of life! She literally saved my life, when I met her I already surgery scheduled with another surgeon only to find out during that summit my surgeon was not who I needed! I would recommend anyone I know to her!

I am an old patient of Dr. Orady and went to her for a IUD insertion pre-pandemic. Her office has rude staff and runs extremely late for appointments. It was the worst experience of my life because the insertion hurt so badly to the point where I feinted from the pain. Afterwards, her staff was very rude and thought I was exaggerating about the pain. Fast forward to today, i just got a new IUD inserted with a different physician. I experienced absolutely no pain with my new Dr.especially after letting her know painful my previous experience was; she explained that she would inject something for pain management and made sure to wait for it to take effect before starting removal of my old IUD and insertion of a new one. Now that I know this procedure shouldn’t hurt to the point of passing out please, do not go to Dr. Orady because my experience was not normal and truly traumatizing.
