I don't really know how to rate this place. The service I believe is fine but their sales tactics are horrible, seem criminal to a point. I signed up for their monthly service program which is ok I guess. They came out, did the winter service and the technician went through his routine and asked if we were interested in new ac united. I told him possibly but it wouldn't be till next year before we could entertain the idea. He finished the service and said everything looked good with a few minor issues he took care of. Fast forward six months or whatever to the summer service and the same technician comes out, at my request, and again goes through his routine. He asked if we were still interested in a new unit in the future and this time I told him something like I think we are ok for now. We have other things going on and if it's just older but still running ok we're gonna hold off for now. Well after he did his checks low and behold this was going out, that was going out and it was in dire need of repairs, to the point where it was gonna cost north of $3000. It was just weird how it went from everything is fine to completely shot in six months but only after I told him we didn't want to replace it anytime soon if we didn't have to. So I called a different company to come out and so far absolutely no issues what so ever. I guess if it goes out within the next year then I was completely wrong and I'll change this review to 5 stars. So take that for what it's worth. Work was fine but the sales tactics are horrible (just my opinion).

Infuriated with this company. Purchased system almost eight years ago when they were under the name of One Hour Heating & Air and now Monarch Home Services. Since the first year we have had nothing but issues and to this current date March 2,2023 still having issues. It's been the same issue for several years now and even with expensive cleaning and repairs made, this same issue is still haunting us. The issue affects both the heating and air and after many many service calls for the same thing nothing has been resolved. The system is either a lemon as we have been trying to tell this company for years now or Monarch hires technicians that know zero about heating & air systems. After a little over 5 years of having the system one of Monarch's techs recommended we purchase an upgraded new system. Really? Is this your way of saying we can't fix it so replace it? There are not enough characters for us to voice in this review so here is a warning to all: STAY CLEAR of Monarch Home Services. We're stuck with them but you have a choice to go elsewhere. Monarch, wish we never heard of you.

We had Monarch I stall two new HVAC units. 6 months later it was giving us issues. A year and a half later and half a dozen visits from technicians we still have problems. They told me it is because it is dirty and wanted over $1000 to clean it. I talked to another HVAC company in Tehachapi and they showed me that it was installed incorrectly. They are also going to void the warranty because of "neglect". Avoid these scam artists!

All the technicians we have experienced from Monarch have been really good. Recently Joshua came out to do our winter service. He was one of the most professional, kind and conscientious service people I've ever encountered. Not only was Joshua very respectful of me and our home, he was very mindful of a sick pet we are caring for in our home and adjusted how he did things to ensure it wouldn't affect our pet. Joshua was also very thorough, easy to communicate with and explained everything in detail.

While Monarch can run a wee bit more than some other HVAC repair places, you get what you pay for and I would definitely recommend this service.

The Crew that came to my house was on time and very professional they were very knowledgeable about the situation and curtious and respectful they did an amazing job so happy with there work Highly recommend them best in town

Second time using this company and because of the tech Isaac I have already scheduled my next appt.he was very nice, explained things and the co.itself is very responsive! I recommend them for service.

Just going to put it plain and simple. Monarch Home Services in Bakersfield went above and beyond to make things right from Megan in the office, Nathan the manager to Don the service technician they sent over. My Mom and I appreciate you! Thanks again. I highly recommend Monarch Home services. And if there is something that you think may not be right all you gotta do is ask. They are all very nice and understandable. Trust me!

The worst service I have ever had they pull wires out to make sales they also are almost never on time everything is about a sale to them never will

These folks were above board on professionalism! My only regret is not getting two other estimates to compare! I would strongly recommend Monarch to anyone looking for top quality!

When our AC stopped blowing cold air one evening, I called the next morning and they had somebody out within a couple of hours. He was very polite and explained everything to me. He had it working in about an hour. They were a lifesaver during these triple digit summer days.

Technician was very professional and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what the problem was. This business has the best customer service and we will continue to use them.

I have used Monarch Home Services in the past. However today I was impressed with the service that I received. It started with the scheduling of the appointment. I called at 730 am and by 8 I had already received a call back to confirm the appointment and by 9 I already had a technician at my house. The technician Joshua Lopez was real professional and competent. His instructions and explication were clear and I was able to understand what was going on with my A/C unit. He took my budget into consideration and was able to work with me. I was impressed with the service I received and would recommend Monarch to everyone. If I could I would recommend or request for Joshua Lopez to be my regular service technician.

Our 20 year old central air system stopped working. Monarch was able to accommodate us the same day. We were notified 1 hour prior to our appt. The technician Brian was so friendly, and thorough. He took pictures of every component and explained in detail what the issues were. The repair price was reasonable and hopefully will last until we can book an appt for replacement. Highly recommend Monarch for their customer service and friendly staff.

I have had a rough experience with Monarch. But let me say one thing they communicate well & the manager went above to make everything right. He got everything handled in a quick time frame. So if anyone else ever has a rough experience the manager will go extra miles to make things right and keep a customer!
