One of my favorite breweries
Gets kinda chilly when it’s winter time so take a sweater

Beer snobs know this place is a SoCal Gem. But there Torrance location was super friendly for my kids, they even gave us juice boxes.

The beer and vibe is good. But never ever eat in the Felicia Italian catering if that’s the food truck they have when you go. This catering sucks - they have a very rude staff, extremely stale and unhealthy food.

Nice area to hang out at a craft brewery in Torrance. Decent beers and plenty of area to sit outside and also some indoor seats as well. Beers are good and not overly priced either. Stop in with some friends and have a couple of beers and relax and have a good time with friends. There was a food ‘bus’ parked there as well to have some plant based Asian food if you are hungry. Not sure if it is always there or not.

Best beer period. The friendly staff and crowd makes it even better. Their rotating food truck is always a pleasure to have around. Never a dull moment here.

Awesome brewery! Great atmosphere. Best hazies one can find. And amazing staff to boot! Both locations are great. Don’t forget to pet Bobby the resident cat at Torrance.

On my last trip to LA, on way down to Disney for kids, I had to stop by here and buy some brews for the hotel. My friend had brought me some back to Jersey last year and had to personally stop next time I visit to la. Amazing place, amazing beer. Ended up bringing some 4pks back jersey.

Absolutely amazing beer. I’m a big hoppy, juicy IPA fan and i wasn’t disappointed. Highly recommend. Just wish they shipped or sold in Canada!

I survived the pandemic thanks to Monkish. Scoring brews every morning via IG was quite the challenge but so worth the struggle. Now that their brewery is fully reopened, I always make it a point to stop in when I'm in the area.

Been coming here since they opened and have yet to be disappointed. Their nelson sauvin beers are my fav, but galaxy, citra, and double-hopped IPA's are amazing too.

You can order drinks by the glass, cans to-go for select brews, along with 64oz / 2L growlers ($10 each) which can be refilled for some post-party enjoyment. They refill growlers from other breweries for a fee, which I thought was pretty cool since most breweries in the area don't do this.

The line to order beers can get long sometimes so I often check out their website / IG for their latest offerings beforehand and double-fist each time I order. Saves a lot of time, especially if it's a busy night or you're with a big group.

They often have food trucks on the weekends but, again, lines can get long so we usually split the group up - one for food orders, one for beer to make the most of things.

The outdoor seating area is nice during the day but can get chilly late afternoon during the fall / winter so layer up. Summer nights are perfect outside. Limited seating indoors as well, which has since fully reopened as of March 2022.

Located on the southwest corner of Del Amo and S Western Ave, if you're heading south on Western, the entrance is immediately after the Fantastic Cafe. Kinda hard to see the entrance so drive slowly, plenty of parking in dedicated lot.

Smog City and The Dudes are a few other breweries very close by that are worth checking out as well if you're looking to do a pub crawl. Cheers

Monkish brewery make best Hazy IPAs
Every beer was so juicy and didn't sweet.
Some breweries's hazy IPA are good but sometimes so sweet to me.i can't even drink all without foods.
Anyway they only have beers not foods.
You should order foods or check food truck information

Excellent beers, chill ambiance, friendly and helpful staff who answered my questions and helped me pick out beers to go. Not cheap, but the quality is there. Very tasty low alcohol beers, which was perfect for me. Lovely patio.

I really enjoyed it with the chill and kids friendly environment.they didn't have any designated child's corner to play while the grown ups can fully enjoy a good beer especially when I visit them it was a perfect day.luckily everyone there was enjoying watching our son play with the brewery guard pet a Really laid back orange Kitty cat that actually loves being played with by my toddler. Never did it his or attempt to scratch him so I give it an (A+) along with a fat to all the hard workers there! Keep up the good work fellers.

One of the best brewery in LA, Belgian, IPAs, stouts, ale, you name it! Sitting may be limited but the waiting is not that long because the crowd literally buys their case of beers, have a drink, and walk away minutes after finishing their glass

Hidden jem. Unique, strong selection on tap.

But my favorite part is when they partner with food trucks, like @ManEatingPlant

This is one of the best breweries in southern California. Whenever we are in the area we are sure to stop every time. They seem to specialize in hazy IPAs which is my favorite. All of their hazies are so good. Also they have decent parking and seating.

Service is slow so the line can get long. The beers are just so-so. There is a much better brewery just a few blocks away with much better beers. Try that one instead.

11-26-21:
Wow. This place makes some great hazy IPA. I'm putting them in the same upper echelon as Fieldwork Brewing in Berkeley, California. And a notch above Modern Times in San Diego.

Hazy unfiltered IPA were spectacular. I was disappointed that I couldn't stay longer.

But next time I am in Southern California, will make a point to come back again!

The #1 place for IPAs period. This place is a bomb LA spot with cool hip hop influence. They always got a load of IPAs on tap and usually a couple belgium styles and a stout. They have been shipping more since Covid so u can usually cop anywhere in California now.

One of thee best IPA’s I ever had. This is a must stop by and have a drink or just to take some home. It’s worth your time.
