Well I originally known it as the public swimming pool before the YMCA. But nonetheless it makes for a nice little museum that I am proud to have in my neighborhood as a neighbor
Visiting museum is my jam. It always have interesting and sometime weird stuff. Anyhow, Monrovia Historical Museum is a small museum in the city of Monrovia. It is housed in a historic 1925 Spanish-style building that once served as the City's municipal plunge (now referred to as a public pool). It features exhibits on the history of Monrovia, life in the 1900s and Monrovia's contributions in World Wars I and II. The Museum currently has over 10,000 artifacts, many of which are on display. Admission is free. You won’t spend much time browsing the exhibits and artifacts. Staff was helpful and nice. Street parking only. Overall, it’s a cool lil town museum that you and your family will enjoy.
