So far so good. Montare has a variety of treatment options. For example, they offer yoga, soundbath, TMS, group therapy, individual therapy, creative writing, art therapy, horse therapy, and much more. Montare takes me to the gym and AA meetings if I want to. For Veterans, they have an RSVP program that caters to our needs. Mitch is the coordinator for that program and he helps us with most of our needs.
The house manager meets with us weekly along with Mitch where we can voice our concerns. We have a chef who cooks for us and oftentimes caters to our dietary needs. While there have been some staffing issues, the staff that is here has been attentive and friendly.
Even though it's still a mental rehab place with some rules, we still get the opportunity to go on outings. Shopping, movies, lasertag, restaurants, and many more activities are some of the places they've taken us.
Overall, Montare has offered me a space where I can reflect and grow in a stress free environment.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I went to Montare from September of 2022 to November 2022 and was severely disappointed from what I received there. The entire PHP and IOP program was highly disorganized. It did not feel like the goal of the company was to help people heal, but was more aligned with making money. Montare has grown at an exponential rate and the Owners have many facilities, I feel like the expansion and effort for quantity/$$$ has affected the quality.

Therapists were late to groups, unprepared, and the lack of continuity/communication amongst the staff was gut-wrenching. It was sad to see a mental health business that is supposed to be focused on helping people who are suffering and suicidal when they walk through their doors, to phone in their jobs with such a lack of urgency. This lack of urgency unfortunately led to a former montare member committing suicide shortly after discharge, he was a dear friend of mine. Montare had 1 Case manager working for almost all of the clients and this led to clients not being appropriately prepared both in the program and upon discharge.

I myself, was also discharged when I made it clear that I was not ready to do so. I was jerked around constantly during my stay at Montare and had to speak to staff about the same thing numerous times because of their lack of organization and communication. They were poorly equipped any many facets of the business and I also ran into problems with insurance. Montare said that my insurance would no longer cover my care, but when I called my provider they confirmed that they were still covering me. Needless to say, I will not be recommending Montare to anyone who is suffering with their mental health. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Take care of yourself and do your homework on a facility that is going to put your needs first instead of focusing on the $$$ signs.
