Montclair Neighborhood Park reviews
11 Easily one of the best neighborhood parks in San Diego.
Multiple levels of equipment for kids to grow through. Lots of open fields. And it's ringed by a wide sidewalk.
There's also an adult fitness track. Keeping up with toddlers is tough. Utilize that track.
Nice, clean, big, dog-friendly, fenced-in neighborhood park with parking, playground, grilling facilities, drinking fountain, and garbage cans.
(That's a lot packed into a single sentence)
There is some ambient noise from the nearby freeway - but not enough to detract from the experience.
A rather long driveway into the park may get you thinking you're in the wrong place - rest assured, you're in the right place.
I've never seen it very crowded, but usually enough other park goers to make it feel safe.
Towards evening, some cars parked along the driveway and parking areas lend a suspicious feeling of illegal transactions occuring; but we've never felt unsafe or threatened.
I have NOT noticed restroom facilities there, so plan accordingly.
Great playground, the equipment is relatively new and well kept, good options for older and younger kids, and ample parking options.
My kids love to go to this park. Plenty of room to kick a soccer ball or play catch. Usually not very crowded.
Great little neighborhood park. There are no bathrooms, there is a water fountain, there's at least a couple of barbecue grills and picnic tables. There's a big open grassy area and a walking path around the whole Park. They also have exercise stations along the walking path. They have two play structures for kids from 2 to about 13. They also have a sandpit and swings.
Nice area here just be aware that they were doing construction at the time and the walk from the parking garage to the hotel is decently far. So if you are meeting someone take some extra time to get there because fortunately I was very early to a meet up here and was able to take my time. This area also has a nice outside patio to sit outside.
Cute neighborhood park at the end of a cul-de-sac. It has a playground area for kids, a large grassy area with a handful of trees and tables and a paved walkway around the perimeter.
This place is perfect for littlw kids. It's in a safe neighborhood with lots of space to spread out and enjoy the park. We always enjoy coming here to spend the day relaxing.
Dogs off leash in spite of signs. Many people not wearing masks. Little social distancing.
Why would a local want to share such a secluded, quiet, peaceful plane to the outside world and ruin it?
Nice quiet part with room to lounge, or have a picnic. There is a small playground structure, and a short trail for walking or biking
