Monte Cristo Bed and Breakfast reviews
7This inn took my breath away, one of the best hotels I have ever lived. This place will literally take you to the 1800s, the art on the wall are from the 1800s, the wallpaper, floors and the rugs are all authentic 1800 designs. I highly recommend this place. Oh, almost forgot, they serve you fresh breakfast with amazing coffee to your door. The host is an amazing, respectful person.
Wonderful hotel! The best place possible to relax, unwind and recharge from the world! We have visited many times in the past and intend to in the future. Love the fact that you could imagine being anywhere when you look around while lazing in the outdoor hot tub. The location is good for it only took a minute from home. We would be coming back here soon. Favorite hotel!
From the easy check in, coded doors, beautiful classic rooms and amazing bathrooms (rain shower Japanese style toilets and double sinks) to the continent location and simply delicious breakfast, and the amazing baked goods for snacks (fudge, cheese biscuits) simply a gem
I stayed here for two weeks and I couldn't have wished to stay anywhere so perfect! Jack, the owner, is very welcoming and friendly, always helpful and ensuring your stay is going well.
The people helping with breakfast in the morning are all super nice and the food for the breakfast is really delicious. There's lots of choice between different meats, breads, fruit and the homemade quiche is yummy! The room's are all really clean and everything is changed everyday, so you get fresh towels and a nicely made bed too.
The decor of the hotel is very charming and elegant, and has a real touch of beauty about it. Also the location is perfect, as you're only a short drive to the Golden Gate Bridge and the city. The area is one of the wealthiest in America with lots of big houses, which makes you feel very safe. Also it's a lovely clean area.
I'd definitely stay there again and I recommend anyone wanting a cute B&B to stay here, a real treasure, would put more than five stars if I could!
Proprietor was very warm and welcoming. The place definitely felt historic with modern touches. It's clean and we'll maintained but nothing feels new. There kind of place you'd like to explore and you expect to find the door to Narnia in a musty study.
Eclectic. Fantastic find for a fling. Old world charm with new age ingredients. We were here for a two groom wedding and this charming inn was perfect. Gluten free cake out in the afternoon, bountiful breakfast in the morning. Rooms were small, but clean and charmingly decorated. Bathrooms were top notch. The proprietor was friendly in a very San Franciscan way. All in all a great experience.
