Montebello Barnyard Zoo reviews
15Overall park was pretty sad. The counter lady made my experience much worse. She was rude and didn’t really know what her job consists of. Be nicer so people can actually enjoy where you work.
Really sad to see the living conditions of these animals, pens are either very crowded or small or both.
Your kids will be entertained and the prices are very cheap, but as an adult, you can see that it’s not a good life for the animals here.
Very nice place where you can get closer to the animals. All employees here a real Animal lovers. We had a great day here although it was very hot we still could enjoy. I recommend it.
This place was just ok in my opinion. It was upsetting they only had bike helmets for the kids getting on the ponies. A bike helmet may not save a child’s life from a traumatic brain injury if an accident were to ever occur, which if you know anything about horses even the dead broke horses can spook at things or have things to wrong. I felt bothered because the saddle my son was on was leaning very far to the left, I told the guy and he didn’t pay much attention. A proper fitted saddle is so important for the horses and the riders. I hope they invest in proper helmets for the child riders. Overall, the place was clean and ponies seemed healthy and clean.
Sits on a really nice park where you can have a picnic and use the playground and facilities. Staff at the zoo is super nice and helpful. Kids love the variety of pony ride, train, and petting zoo where they can feed the animals for a small fee. Great for groups!
Nice little hideaway you can take the kids over there if they can go horseback riding and a lot of animals that they don't normally see
Great place to bring kids and spend the day many activities from mining to pony rides and a small train petting zoo is great bring my kids here very often staff was friendly great place to visit
It’s a small petting zoo but it has a variety of animals and they’re friendly and gentle will eat the feed right out of your hands. There’s a nice playground for children with slides and a splash pad.
Came here after spending some time in the park and admission was $7. You can buy a $2 bag filled with food to feed to the goats. Although it’s nice to see animals not common to cities, I do wish they were given more space to roam around. Overall nice experience but I do wish they were given better environments.
Great zoo. Loved the animals, tractor pull and pony rides.
This place is great for kids parties. Good section to segment the groups off. Great for social distacing.
Today was my first time here with my family. It was quiet sad seen all the animals in such a poor condition, specifically for their fees. They need to close this place down. I would not be coming back.
Such a sad experience.
Great place to bring your kids all year long! It’s very calm and very cute. Pony rides, merry go round, train tractor ride, Petting zoo. You can also host parties for the kids. I have been coming here for 11 years and my kids and I love it.
I love this park cuz it's great for kids my family is to come enjoy the zoo that's right across the field from the park I got a great jungle gym baseball field plenty of parking and restrooms on both sides. Plus being homeless lets me take a stand up bath and clean my body to go work or rest. Thank God for that it's a blessing. Sincerely Jesus Banda's honest reviews.
What a great place to take the kids. The employees were all friendly here and seemed to like being there. The goats seemed to be the favorite with everyone. There were a bunch with several baby goats. The pigs were taking it easy and they didn't seem to want to break a sweat. Don't forget to buy food for the some of the animals. But don't feed the ducks, rabbits, turtles, pigs and chickens/roosters. They get fed by the staff. Several kids parties were going on simultaneously and there is a van that brings the zoo to your house or party for a cost.
