Wonderful staff who care about your pets more than they care about you as a customer.

It can get busy as they squeeze pets into the schedule and the waiting room can be quite full, but everyone tries their best!

A friend whose dog had dental surgery recently highly recommended Dr. Patrick, and although I was initially told it would take a few weeks to get a new patient appointment, I was very happily surprised to get a NEXT DAY appointment for my cat to have dental surgery when they had a cancellation! Timing is everything, as they say. I was very pleased with how kind, experienced and knowledgeable Dr. Patrick is, and my cat is recovering nicely after having 9 teeth extracted! I'm so glad I didn't have to wait longer (or pay more money as the vet my cat usually goes to had quoted) because my cat had a big infection going on in his mouth and is now on a 14-day injection of antibiotics. A definite thumbs up!

I made an appointment for my kitty Mollie to be seen for a painful tooth. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming. Our appointment was with Dr. Diehl and he provided such great care. He gave me a few options for Mollie and was understanding of my limited budget right now. They went above and beyond my expectations. I'm so happy to have found a kind and caring Vet to bring Mollie to and highly recommend Monticito Vet.

So glad I have such a knowledgeable vet to care for my sweet pets! I appreciate Dr. Patrick's focus on maximum health for all my animals.

Dr. Patrick is the best. My family has been going to see him since he opened his practice. I'm sure any vets he's chosen to work with him are fantastic as well.

My dog Meadow and I saw Dr Paul Palmatier on Wednesday. He was very kind, gentle and thorough as were the staff. He gave good ideas for helping with Meadow's fears. I appreciate very much the good care that she got.

From our first phone call to inquire about this Veterinary Center, we felt welcome and valued. We set up an appointment to establish care for our sweet and anxious older dog and were warmly welcomed when we checked in. The vet tech who brought us back to the treatment room was genuine and attentive. The veterinarian was equally genuine and attentive, and seemed relaxed, confident and competent. He was also engaging and humorous; friendly. We could tell he really cared about us, our pet and our experience. In all my years of being a pet owner, I think this was the best experience I have ever had. It was such a relief! We can't recommend them enough!

I have been using this Vet for about 8 years now. Just took my dog in for a routine visit to get her rabies and 1 other shot. They are super nice and friendly but when the bill came it was double from the last time she went in for the exact shots 3 years ago. I expected with inflation for it to go up, but double is just not something I can justify. Will not be returning.

Montecito is the BEST place to bring my dog. The people are friendly, the facility is spotless and Dr. Patrick is the kindest vet we could ask to see.

Took my 5 yr old GSP girl in to get spayed. Came out with flying colors - no issues with incision, healed cleanly with no oozing. Very good job of getting her taken care of properly. Returned to remove staples and she was out in 10 minutes. Very good job and communication all the way around.

Substandard medicine practiced here. Antiquated anesthesia induction protocols, lack of catheterization and fluids during anesthesia, overbooking with 15 minute appointments and poor client communication/education.

I took my dachshund in for a rattlesnake vaccine, and I saw Dr. Cheryl Langbein. I was very impressed with her friendly demeanor, and she discussed my dog's health and teeth, advising on what I know were necessary procedures. My regular vet does not do rattlesnake vaccines, and now I am thinking of switching, even though I liked my regular vet quite well.

Dr. Diehl and Dr. Patrick are both exceptional in the care of our pets. Both are very compassionate individuals who care deeply for their patients and owners.

Every vet here is fantastic and genuine. No issue too small to get great advise and continued care.

I have been taking my pets to Montecito Veterinary Center for many years. They are the best in town. Dr. Patrick is amazing!
