Monterey Bay Aquarium: Seafood Watch Program reviews
19Awesome experience. First as a young man with my parents. Second time as a newly wed. 25 years later with my children. Each visit a enlightened experience about sealife.
Great aquarium, I've been spoiled by going to the aquarium of the Pacific frequently. But the sea otters and deep sea exhibits we're wonderful!
The aquarium is great. Awesome for kids and adults. Mostly pay to park in the area, either metered or parking lot. Little walk to entrance. Front desk staff was a bit forward and unfriendly, I'm sure its not like that all the time. Volunteers were awesome, friendly, and informative. Pricey but worth it to see some sea life up close and personal.
It's amazing, thrilling, BEST Aquarium, nicely displayed, beautiful theme/photos/description also given. Sea/Marine fishes. Octopus, plants, Penguin, Sardines fish, jelly fish all types, A MUST VISIT destination especially gor children, it is marvelous. It's location (situated on sea shore) is added beauty. Your love and passion towards nature will be greatly satisfied. View of Pacific Sea is beautiful. Parking available. Eateries nearby.
They need more parking, but the whole online booking and phone check in went off without a hitch. Awesome jelly fish exhibits!:)
This by far was one of the best experiences visiting California. A friendly professional staff. Right from the start a wonderful staff member helped navigate my phone so I could get a ticket. Inside staff members gave good interactive knowledge on the marine life. Looking forward to going back.
I absolutely love going to the aquarium. I walked around a few times to ve sure I saw everything. My favorite was the jellyfish and the Gia t tank that is floor to ceiling. I was actually surprised at how many kids were there on a Friday at 1pm. I was thinking this would be a perfect time without kids.but it didn't bother me.
I had the pleasure of visiting once again with my daughter and grandson this week. In all honesty, I initially thought the $50 entrance fee was a bit steep, but once we began our journey it was obvious to me that it's worth every penny. The extent to which they go to help us understand the magic and wonder of living beneath the sea is, in my opinion, unparalleled in this part of the world. Check out my photos to see for yourself the beauty of the Monterey Bay Aquarium!
I had an amazing experience at the aquarium. They were very safe with covid protocols and the displays were breathtaking you must check out the jelly fish.
It was a very beautiful day and the aquarium was beautiful experience for my family we had so much fun they loved it, it was my great-granddaughter's birthday and that's where she chose to go Monterey aquarium
Very good local aquarium. There is not a shark exhibit and no dolphins or whales. However they have an amazing jellyfish display and coral reef display. Plus you cannot beat the views of the ocean!
It's awesome place, staffs were really kind and helpful.
Every exhibition looks just like it is in the nature, I could feel so much efforts in it.
This place was great. It was a lot of fun to roam around and look at all of the sea creatures. There were plenty of places to sit and stare at the aquariums and some fun interactive activities for kids. The Cafe had a large variety of foods and drinks and a great view of the bay from the large 2 story windows.
The Monterey Bay Aquarium is absolutely awesome! It's really got some great stuff to look at. My son, who is 40 years old, and I loved it! Hopefully we'll go again.
Well manage, great staff that cares, I'm impress! Need to continue safe practices with covid!
we truly enjoyed our visit to the aquarium
Monterey Bay aquarium has always been great thev staff have done an outstanding job with covid 19 making it easy fun just a great place to visit all the time
One the best places around San Francisco. Not to crowded because they let you in by appointment, you know to protect us from COVID-19. The restaurant inside is expensive but many good places to eat outside.
Raegan my Grandson at 4 months seems to recognize the gus biophilia attachment to aquatic species, for me it was fascinating with depth place is children friendly it has a cafe area to brunch a great place to visit
My grown daughter and I went for the day when all the kids were back in school. It was the perfect day! We so enjoyed all the exhibits and spending that special time together. The exhibits are amazing, beautiful, and educational. We have many favorites but the otters are so entertaining! Lena M
