Great experience with MBK. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and entertaining. The tour itself was fantastic and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the harbor, ocean life and general area (including some restaurant reco's). Huge thank you to everyone at MBK, we will be back!

Great venue. Our guide talked too much and would not take us close enough to see some otters. Meanwhile the otters floated very close to some people working on a boat

We had an amazing kayak and Monterey Bay Kayaks made it incredibly fast to get out onto the water with wetsuits, life jackets, paddles, and kayak and enjoy the scenery and wildlife with no frills. We loved being able to launch ourselves from the beach and go at our own pace.

We had a blast renting kayaks here! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the equipment was in great condition, and the nearby harbor was fun to explore. The price was great and use of a wetsuit and splash jacket were included. I highly recommend kayaking here.

I get a kayak rental for 35$ All day? Perfect. I get to park and eat by the warf. More perfect. I get to see jellies and creatures without thick aquarium walls between us? Amazing!

Super friendly staff, fast and easy rental process. Recommend going early in the day to avoid the wind/crowds. We saw plenty of seals and otters.

We had an awesome few hours kayaking in Elkhorn Sound. Our guide Emma was great very knowledgeable and encouraging to two complete beginners. Thoroughly enjoyed being so close to sea otters and seals.

The venue has all the kit you need, changing facilities and restrooms. I'd highly recommend them.

Love the staff! So friendly. Had a blast in the ocean with my husband and pug! Will be coming back again this summer! Great weather as well. They provide life vests for me and my husband as well as wet suits. You will get wet! (:

This is an amazing place to see marine wildlife, upclose in their natural habitat, while kayaking. Good for both beginner or advanced folks.

Such great folks here! They're so relaxed, and patient working with you. If you're new to Kayaking, dont worry, they have EVERYTHING you need, are complete outfitters, and easy-going instructors. You will see Sea Lions, Nice Sail Boats, Kelp, and Otters. Tip: Arrive early to ensure you'll have a rental, but most folks are out for 1.5 to 2 hours before returning; Put Sunscreen on Any Exposed skin or you Will get sunburn!

Amazing trip, great guide who was knowledgable and friendly. Otters, Seals and even a cheeky cormorant who hitched a ride. Thanks Rob and MBK for a wonderful morning in Monterey Bay. Highly recommended, we did the 2.5 hour tour.

Excellent service! They will provide you with an optional wetsuit and waterproof jacket. Life vest is a must. We got to see sea lions, harbor seals and sea otters! Our guide was Vince and he kept us entertained by pointing out sea life dropping facts and informing us about the wild life. I would recommend bringing some sort of camera or waterproof phone. There is a small pocket on the life vest that can hold a phone. Definitely consider tipping your guide because it's well deserved!

First time kayaking and it was awesome. I was a little apprehensive at first, they give you a quick run down on the how toos and cut you loose but its really not that hard. Prices were cheaper than i expected so its def something ill start doing more!

Fantastic staff. Adele and Josh rocked our tour, were super knowledgeable and Adele stayed back with taking in the scenery at a slower pace. Do it! The include everything in the cost!

Excellent harbour tour with Will. 1.5 hrs, $45 - a fountain of knowledge about the area and the local marine species. Saw Sea Otters, Sea Lions, Harbour seals and even a Star fish. An amazing experience that I would do again. My kids loved it, the pace was gentle and they have all the kit you need to get going. Wear sun lotion or/and a cap!

Went on a morning 1.5 hour tour and it was amazing! The guides were great and very knowledgeable about the animals and the area. Very cool to see otters and seals. They let you keep using the kayaks for the rest of the day after the tour and we were lucky enough to see a baby seal and tons more otters. Would definitely recommend!

Jesse Suggs was the tour guide for my girlfriend and I this past sunday on Father's Day. He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and made some lasting memories that we will always appreciate. Great trip with a knowledgeable guide. Weather was very good for the sunrise tour and we managed to see lots of wildlife.
