Monterey Park Hospital AHMC

Rude, they don’t communicate with people like they should. My mother in-law was transferred to that hospital by another hospital and they put her with the COVID-19 patients without notifying the family members and didn’t give any information but that she was getting the 24 hr test because the rapid test was not reliable.
My sister in law was notified this morning that her mother was with the COVID-19, because she didn’t have profe of vaccinations. Which they didn’t bother to ask the family members, if she had the Covid-19 vaccines. Which she got earlier this year. Now she has gotten worse due to not providing the needs she needed which weren’t COVID-19 related.

Seriously the worse of the worse. Took my bf in due to not being able to breathe instead of putting him in right away it's been more than an hour and we're still outside waiting. To be passed in

Very bad hospital. Do not come here. Lousy service. They do tend to their patient well. Theyre dirty, have blood splatter on the floor and no one has came to cleaned it AND IT HAS BEEN 2 HOURS. THIS HOSPITAL IS VERY NASTY THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN!

I only gave them 1 star cause I had to to write a review! In actuality it's a Big Fat Zero! I've worked in a hospital setting for over 30 years. I've never seen so much unprofessional and rude people in all my days in this type of setting! The only reason we ended up here was because paramedics had to bring us here! My heart sank when I was told this was the destination cause this isn't my first rodeo with this place! If you value your loved ones don't I repeat don't come here!

My mom had surgery here the staff nurses doctors down to the janitors everyone is amazing there. Im seriously happy how they treated my mother ️

If I could give a ZERO I would. For starter the didn't give me enough anesthesia. It was horrible I could feel the excruciating pain. They didn't even stop or put more anesthesia. I wasn't even fully asleep I could hear the nurses and doctors gossiping while doing the painful surgery. And finally after the tormenting surgery the doctor came up to me with a smile and said "Next time I'll put more anesthesia".

I have SO MANY complaints about this hospital. Starting with the staff that takes care of the paperwork, the bald headed male nurse that takes your vitals, and a few other nurses. They are extremely unprofessional and insensitive. If it wasn’t for another patient that let me go first they would of just left me out there for hours the way they left that man. I couldn’t move my body was completely locked and I was in so much pain and they took me like a joke. We asked to speak to a supervisor and they were able to get a doctor to check me out, if it wasn’t for the supervisor these nurses wouldn’t have done there job.

Gave birth here in April 29 2020. I needed to have an emergency c section due to preeclampsia. They made sure me and my baby were doing fine and since it was during the pandemic they allowed my husband with me. Overall enjoyed my experience here.

Please do not bring your loved ones here My Dad died at this horrible hospital due their negligence. Hospital needs to be shut down! The assigned doctors and nurses my Dad had were never in communication with me at all about his care plan. I had to file a complaint with house supervisor to get a call from the doctors they are very disrespectful, rude and cold hearted their unprofessional behaviour is truly a reflection of level of care they provide for the patients.

I was admitted to the hospital for Covid-19 and I can not find the right words to describe the dedication and hard work off all the nurses Doctor's and support staff at this hospital they are very professional and yet so nice and understanding and so much patience all of us hospitalized. I was there for almost 3 weeks and not once the nurses were mean, rude, I came to a point that I gave up and just wanted to die feeling so sick but a talk with Mercedes night nurse took all that negative thinking off my mind I will appreciate all this nurses did for me on round the clock basis. I will never forget their hard work. God bless this nurses who are taking a chance of getting sick not only them but their love ones every time they go to work. THANK YOU MONTERREY HOSPITAL.

Came in on November 6th for an outpatient surgical procedure but the staff here were very welcoming. The nurses were so sweet they made sure I was well taken care of pre-op all the way to post op care. Nurse Ann and a couple other nurses were so helpful and comforting. Thank you.

My wife went to 2 different ERs and 3 doctors upon that visit found something was very wrong with her heart. She was told it’s not safe for her to even drive to another hospital. Unfortunately our insurance wouldn’t cover a stay at those hospitals. So we were forced to transfer her here. When we showed up this hospital was filthy, the charts had old patients medical info and contact info on it (HIPAA violation). The room feels like a prison and their was belongings from a previous tenant lying around.

She’s there for her heart with excruciating chest pain, so you think they would take her seriously right? Well both doctors and nurses were very dismissive of her pain and concerns, they started to ignore her, gave her a busted gown, didn’t give her patient band until after 16 hour. The cardiologist there is full of himself and said nothing is wrong before even testing her. This genius just said take a couple of Tylenol each day and live out the rest of your life. He also said chest pain is no reason to go to the ER or be admitted to a hospital. He decides to run a stress test first thing Saturday morning. That’s 23 hours after she was transferred for having a severe heart condition as noted by the other hospital’s ER doctors. So it’s Saturday morning and before the test even really starts the doctor is already setting up the discharge papers. Is this place really a hospital? This is a sick joke, the doctors and nurses are a sick joke and the fact that insurance forces people to go here is a sick joke. If you have a life or death situation your better off trying to save them yourself. If a poor soul dies because of they all should be held accountable and if the insurance forces them here they should definitely be held accountable too. My wife’s life was put on the line because of these clowns. Hospital is full of medical dropouts at least that’s what it feels like for a patient there. Not one positive thing to say about this place. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE SOMEONE’S LIFE!
