Monterey Pines Golf Club reviews
10 Great price for the value. A military member, we would get the twilight trooper pass and play in the evenings. Starter is a little loose here, a few times people would be backed up waiting for someone to hit a million mulligans.
Easy course in good shape.
Owner a bit grumpy when too may orders come in otherwise I keep coming back for a kwik lunch
Started my round at 1: 30pm and played only 15 1/2 holes. Picked up my ball on 15 and headed to 18. Skipped 16 and 17 altogether. Walked off the course at 6pm with sunlight almost gone. Pace of play was so bad and didn’t see anyone from the course trying to speed up pace of play. You should be able to finish 18 holes with a 1: 30pm tee time. Frustrating paying over $70 to not finish a round of golf.
Review is for golf lessons with Staci. I’ve played off and on for a few years but never really got my swing dialed in.
Booked a lesson with Staci and within 10 minutes, she gave really great feedback that drastically corrected my swing. I had the dreaded classic over the top/casting swing and with a few corrections, I was hitting the ball pure!
Staci was great. She had me hit 8-10 initial balls to gauge my swing. Asked a few questions and then provided very helpful tips. I had gotten lessons before but they can’t compare to the level of help that she provided.
Thank you so much! Looking forward to future lessons to dial in other aspects of my game!
Private-class greens and fairways at muni-level price. Simple and easy layouts. Quite happy golfing for the price I paid
This was a pleasant first experience starting when I arrived at the clubhouse. The pro shop informed me that my reservation was for the next day, as I had made a mistake when I booked it. They were very understanding and kind enough to get me out on the course about the same time I had booked anyway.
I rented a cart and we started play around 1: 30. It was so pleasant that I never had to wait on any hole. Great pace of play to enjoy a really nice day on the course. The fairways and the greens were in fantastic condition. Everything was lush and green and well maintained. I wish courses would get back to having ball washers on the tee boxes but this is yet another course that has done away with them. That was my only complaint though. The paths were great all over the course and the signage was also clear and easy to follow around the course.
We played our round in less that 3 1/2 hours and we were a foursome, so pace was really a pleasant factor for our round. The course is a bit short which was fun as there were a couple of drivable par 4's but still had 3 par 5's to challenge your fairway woods. The par 3's were challenging with water on a couple of holes as well to make things interesting.
Overall I really liked this course and I will look forward to returning to play it again.
Beautiful day! Unfortunately we had a group a few holes ahead of us that held up the course and it took us 5 hours. Marshal needs to step up his game.
A very nice course for a beginner like me and my wife. However does take some good strokes or you will be in water or some rough areas. But nice fairways and greens.
Great golf course, the worst person working the bar and food area. He shut the menu down in front of my face. He’s very rude every time I go.
Call Them for range, they said their last call is 5: 30pm I got here at 5: 15 and they were already closed.
