Yo do you want to get into some really delicious mexican food? This is the place. I think their barbacoa is some of the best in Santa Barbara, whether its with tacos or burritos it really doesn't matter. Oh and their habanero salsa is on fire. So good! This place is on anacapa in the funk zone. I would for sure say one of the top mexican food places in town. Check it out!

Friendly service and simple parquet dining with the best Mexican food I have ever had. Try the carne asada burrito. You won't be sorry. Peruvian beans are the game changer. Other greats: Chile verde and barbacoa tacos.

The line was so long a lot of plates were sold out. No tables available inside; only outside seating and not much of it when the line is long and people linger well after their meal is done.

Had the Mony’s bowl with chicken rings and a side of habañero hot sauce which was super good. Line was quick, service was friendly and had nice casual spots to sit along the sidewalk outside.

The food is fresh. The people are kind the food seemed very healthy. For those who love good quality Mexican food please go here and patronize this business I highly encourage trying everything on the menu

Great burritos, highly recommended, but parking nearby is hard to find. Not too far to walk the the beach, maybe 10mins.

Delicious tacos and a very good selection of different sauces for dipping the nachos. The beer selection is also very good! We had the Barbacoa, Camerones, Chorizo ​​and Rajas con Queso Vegetales Taco and they were all delicious. However, you have to expect a waiting time because the Lockal is very well attended!

Everything we got here was delicious and great quality. The price is also right for those feeding families. They had tejano instrumental covers of popular songs playing.

MANAGEMENT AND STAFF ARE INCOMPETENT AND RUDE. I am a Head Chef and I had a bad experience at this restaurant. This restaurant is very disorganized. I waited in line to ordered 2 burritos as it is supposedly the most popular item on the menu. I left with a fish taco when I paid for 2 fish burritos. I called the restaurant and they were not willing to make it right saying they will give me a refund for the taco but I will have to pay for the 2 burritos that I already paid.
Money is not an issue but going back to the restaurant and wait in line twice and pay for an order twice is unacceptable!
The management and the staff are incompetent. It was a total waste of time.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

Mony's is hands down my favorite Mexican food in Santa Barbara. (And I really, really, really love Mexican food!) They have great vegetarian options; I always have trouble deciding between their rajas burrito, rajas tacos, and chilaquiles. Their chips are fantastic too, and don't miss their green avocado salsa (I would drink this if I could) and spicy orange habanero salsa. Add their fantastic service and you have a go-to gem of a local restaurant! Don't miss Mony's!
