See my photos for pictures of our food. It was more than serviceable, but not the best we’ve ever had. Tasty enough and that’s what we needed. The cocktail was a bit weak. As you can see, we took the ice out of it. I ordered a glass of Joyce Vineyard Pinot Noir, and did not finish it. Sweet potato fries and asparagus were both very well done. I thought the slob was very good and was surprised that I couldn’t find pictures of it online.

We arrived just before six on a January Saturday and got the last table in the outside patio. If we had not gotten that, we would’ve had to wait 20 minutes. 48 minutes later, we are ready to leave. Bill was $76 for food, beverages and tax.

Found this little gym coming from Hurst Castle, been there a couple of times and every experience has been awesome. Can be a little pricey at times due to market value. Will continue to come here each time try there Cioppino. Also kids Alfredo was perfect for a 9 and 2 yr old

We enjoyed the atmosphere and staff very much. Everything was clean and the staff was polite and prompt bringing the food. The burger arrived with some delicious onion strings. The fish and chips were ok. The fish was thin without much flavor. Before ordering I should have asked what kind of fish is used. The clam chowder was delicious.

We were looking for some good seafood coming from a landlocked state so we found Moonhouse. The service was incredible! Very attentive and friendly. The food was okay but not as good as we expected. The clam chowder was the best thing we ate! The seafood pasta had potential but the sauce could have been so much more flavorful. The tequila chicken pasta had a good sauce. Calamari was good but not excellent. I did have a great virgin mojito!

Worth going to for the clam chowder though!

We ordered the oysters on the half shell, fish and chips, the Moonstone chowder, and the coconut shrimp.
The oysters were a great quality and the horseradish & cocktail sauce were quite the compliment.
The chowder and sourdough bread bowl were fantastic! I highly recommend it!
My husband was really happy with his fish and chips which he can be picky about if the fish is an off texture or if the breading is not great and I didn't hear a single thing from him while he was eating.
My daughter devoured the coconut shrimp before I thought to ask for a bite, but they had a great looking crust on them.
The outdoor seating is scenic and well protected from the wind with the tall plexiglass enclosure.
I would definitely recommend having a meal here if you're in the area.

There's has been one of my favorite places to eat a gorganzola salad and oysters Rockefeller. You can't go wrong with those 2 items. Also, they are right on the shoreline so you are overlooking the ocean. If you get a little chill, they also offer blankets.its a real cozy place.

You can't beat the view or the service at this wonderful bar and grill. Drinks were great and the atmosphere was even better.

Delicious oysters.fried jalapenos were sweeter than spicy.i was disappointed because I wanted that spicy kick, but the core demographics of this area probably prefer it this way so it's understandable.shoestring onions were delightful and not too salty.the clam chowder sourdough bread bowl was just ok.tastes more like potato than clam.even BJs does the chowder better.

Food was amazing! It is first come, first serve, and they do not do takeout or reservations. So come early and be prepared to wait a little bit. It's popular for a reason. Food was amazing and the oysters were super fresh. Every dish we ordered was delicious! We tried a few desserts, with my favorite being the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake!

I'll kick off with dinner. Fish and chips for me. Lightly battered, crisp chips, and delicious. Reasonable price as well. My wife had the chicken sandwich and said it was one of the best one she's had. Another table ended up with the molten chocolate cake for dessert. We had to order one as well. Not necessarily required to order it, but once it showed up at the next table it pretty much sealed the deal. I think we'll be back for breakfast this morning.

They were busy. When we arrived we were told it was likely at 10 to 15 minute wait for sitting inside for each of the people in front of us. They chose to sit outside. We got to the front and I joked that I had heard it all that we were willing to wait and come back in a few minutes. To my surprise he said somebody had just left and a table was available. We were seated in seconds! The service was a tiny bit slow because of how busy they were, but it was courteous and the food itself came out quite quickly. It just took a touch longer to get their attention for things like more water or the bill. I have to say that if that's the single biggest issue that I had at the place it was a perfect way to wrap up the day!

Lastly, I love the fact that the owner of the place responds to input from customers. That is what made us decide to go in the first place. The genuinely seem to care about the reviews regardless of them being good or bad. It's nice to see a business that appreciates the feedback.

The staff are very nice, the location is great, and their hours are great - they're open when everything else around is closed.

However, none of the seafood is fresh or local, none of the beef is fresh or local. I can forgive them this since it's mostly marine sanctuary around - which is a good thing! But then there is not one healthy option on the menu. I ordered the crab salad sandwich and still feel ill somehow, maybe it's because 1/4 of the ingredients is sauce.

They for some reason felt like they needed to print and hang up all over the entrence walls quotes of good reviews. Why? It's kitchy.

And this place is SO popular with families who have young children that you can't enjoy the atmosphere due to screaming and banging silverware on tables. I'm not a parent and I imagine these people are so used to living with the equivalent of zoo animals that they just don't notice or have given up trying to discipline their offspring, but for the rest of the adult world this is unacceptable. What was left of the experience was ruined.

Great food and drinks but better view! Perfect fall weather makes it super special but great year round. Good selection on the menu for even the pickiest of eaters.

My friends and I recently ate here, we were surprised to see the prices had been raised and no longer serve sides dishes with their sandwiches or burgers, it is an extra charge. The food was only okay and the service was slow and we kept having an issue getting what we needed/requested.
