Moqueca Brazilian Restaurant

Crispy bread and tapenade were served as “on the house” appetizers and they had delicious marinated hot peppers to go with it. We could have filled up on these alone! We also had empanadas and were genuinely pretty full before our two entrees arrived. Everything was amazing.

Moqueca is our family's go-to spot for all occasions - birthdays, anniversaries, or just when we want a delicious meal. Every bite of every dish we've ever ordered has been high quality, flavorful and overall just lovely. My favorite is the Shrimp Moqueca (although they are all great) with sides of fried plantains and some empanadas.
We can't wait until a safer time when we can go back to eat at the restaurant, but have ordered from them twice for takeout during Covid. The owner is always so appreciative and the food is just as delicious from home!

I've never had anything like this in my visits to Brasil but it was delicious. The moquequinha tasted like a thai curry meets chimichurri, this is probably the best I could explain it. I added fish, which I believe he said was Cod. It was tasty, I would order it again. The lunch prices are extremely reasonable for the taste and quality.

We tried the empanadas. So good. We also had the steak with chimichurri. Yummmmm. My daughter loves the seafood moqueca. The flavors are so delightful. Not spicy at all just bursting with flavors that compliment each other. Love the food and the people. Thanks for doing carry out! Recommend

Interesting menu and very nice atmosphere. Tatiana the Owner was very accomodating to my food allergies and the Coconut Flan for dessert was amazing.we are thrilled to have such a unique place to gather with Friends and celebrate any occasion in our beautiful town of Thousand Oaks

When you are in London, you'll realize there are a lot of Prets, Starbucks, and other chains for coffee. There are not a lot of independent coffee shops and when there are, they don't necessarily have good 'filter' options (more like the pour overs we have rather than the espressos). This place is one of the few that has a large selection of coffee beans. They have detailed descriptions behind each of the coffee plants where the beans are from. You can read about the story of the plant owners while enjoying your cup of delicious coffee. They have limited seating here but it's a very intimate and classic environment so definitely worth spending a coffee break here!

This restaurant is my favored. I go to many restaurants but to this one I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very receptive and the cooking they offer is so tasty. I would always prefer to have a nice dinner here. Highly recommended.

It's good. Wasn't bad at all, but at $24 per plate I expected more.

Theres a weekend-only soup I think could have been really exceptional, but they were all out. I'd like to try that and possibly revise my opinion afterward!

Also had a bit of a weird experience - we were told there werent any open tables, but they could seat and serve us at the bar. Not strange in itself.except that we were there 1hr before closing, and there were 5 open tables when we walked in. I didn't think we looked slovenly, certainly no worse than others who were seated. But just a little strange. Maybe I'm missing something.

All told, it's good, but aside from this special weekend-exclusive soup, I don't see much reason to come back and pay $80 for a meal that doesnt really impress me.

They offer a large range of delicious food. I enjoy eating here. The employees are always very friendly, prices are affordable and the spot is always kept clean.

I love Brazilian food since i spent 3 months in Brazil during my younger college days, Moqueqa is an authentic brazilian food and the service was great. I have been there at least 10 times and the food was consistently great.

I celebrated my birthday this evening in this excellent restaurant. Well we passed a awesome evening and the restaurant was evidently the reason for this successful evening. The stuff collaborated in a graceful manner, the food was tasty and my guests were so glad. We shall definitely visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.
