Morongo Valley Cafe reviews
15Came here after a failed attempt at a different restaurant. At first we were skeptical because of the area, but man this place has delicous food. We also weren't the only ones shocked as another table was sending compliments to the chefs. We tried the ultimate egg sandwhich and the banana french toast, they definitely did not disappoint.
Quiet little place outstanding service, it was our waitresses first day and she is the sweetest person, all the staff was great and I loved my breakfast.
The Morongo Valley Cafe is consistently a fantastic option for a satisfying breakfast. Their menu features all the classic breakfast items, nothing gourmet, but definitely satisfying. While the interior is somewhat plain, the presence of numerous local historical items and pictures on the walls makes it an intriguing place to enjoy a nice Saturday or Sunday morning. The food is tasty, the service is excellent, and the inclusion of local history adds to the overall experience of the Morongo Valley Cafe.
Everything else is fine except prices are hiding some sub are extra you won’t know until you see the receipt it does not says on menu anyways lol
This is a gem here in Morongo Valley. The food and service are excellent. The biscuits and gravy were probably the best I have ever had.light fluffy biscuits and perfect sausage gravy (not greasy like many places). The bacon was done to perfection too. Compliments to the owners and chef for operating a high quality eatery! If you are in the area, this is a must eat here place!
Cute little diner in Morongo valley. The food was good however the toast was brought cold and after most of the food was almost eaten! Also there were bugs in the salt. There are really no choices there so over all you make the best of it.
Great service, below average food. Hash browns weren’t crispy. Pancakes aren’t anything special. Biscuit came out weird. Enjoyed my time there but wouldn’t go back.
We found this place by accident, but food there was good and waiter was nice and polite. We enjoyed our breakfast there.
OMGooodesss! My best friend and I stayed in Morongo Valley during Coachella and we found this cafe down the road from us and we went 2 mornings in a row! The food and the staff are so amazing. It's a small family owned cafe and it's perfect. The food was delicious and they have the BEST biscuits I've ever had! I live in Texas and I've had a lot of amazing biscuits - but these are different and something I will be thinking about until I have them again! Hahahahaha! Ugh gonna fly back out to California just for these biscuits
This restaurant is not open 7 days a week, weekends and some holidays they can be open for Breakfast brunch/lunch.
I knew this place would be good when I saw the sign. Large portions, friendly staff, front and back of the house, making it enjoyable sitting at the counter watching and listening to the team loving their job.
First time there have just been driving right by. Never again ill stop when ever im going by
We had blueberry pancakes, biscuits with gravy, eggs and hash browns. Everything was tasty, seemed homemade and fresh. Perfect stop to try some american breakfast items. Service was great and fast. Try their homemade salsas, too.
Was just looking for a quick bite. Nice little shop. Not fancy but simple honest food served quick, friendly and hot. They seem to be all family members and they work well as a team.
Had a good burger. They do close early, like around 2pm ish. So it is a breakfast and lunch spot.
Friendliest staff and the food is delicious. The gigantic cinnamon roll is so worth the carbs and calories. The buttery sweet glazed is the perfect sweetness.
