Incredibly impressed with the workmanship AND professionalism of the entire team. It seems that integrity is lacking from most of the people I've hired to do work in my home, but Morro Bay Cabinets exceeded by expectations! They listened to what I wanted, made it happen, and did it all with a smile! Plus, their pricing beat any other quote I received. THANK YOU for being a great businesses I would highly recommend to anyone. I can't wait to find another project for you to do in my home!

I called to let them know that their fleet driver wasn’t stopping for stop signs- 3 while I was behind them, but I guess they didn’t care to hear about it. You have to wonder if guys like that are going to be taking care of your home when they work there if they don’t even see the need to obey traffic laws. Hope they carry a big umbrella policy!

In celebrating 5 years as residents of San Luis Obispo County we feel obliged to share this review about our experiences with local merchants and service providers.

Since beginning our transition from the east coast we have of course sought support from countless businesses in/around the area. However, this review focuses primarily on [new] construction and home improvement companies and their associated suppliers.

We can say with confidence that the number of our experiences compare and likely surpass the average new resident to SLO—particularly the new construction homebuyer. Moreover, we have virtually encountered the full spectrum of service, i.e, excellent to utterly pathetic, in terms of customer service (including administrative support and overall customer relationship management), product quality, on time delivery, etc. And, although several meet our “average” and a few “above-average” standards, still, regrettably, far too many below.

That said, without hesitation we can also say that Morro Bay Cabinets located in Paseo Robles, California, a family-owned and operated business, is far and away superior to any other product and service provider we have encountered in SLO County, in any category—"head and shoulders” above the competition!

From the moment I walked into the MB Cabinets showroom until the very last cabinet was installed in our home, this was the most gratifying of any experience during the past 5 years of our transition and relocation.

I was met by the owner, Steve Gordon, who graciously welcomed me to the establishment, initially spending a couple hours explaining cabinetry generally but more importantly MB’s special attention to quality and construction (including a tour of the adjoining manufacturing facility). We then spent considerable time the next day selecting just the right cabinets, including raw materials, style, color, etc, and over the next several days computer-aided design (CAD) modeling so that we could see precisely how the cabinets would fit and look in our kitchen.

Over the next several weeks while cabinets were being constructed Steve constantly shared status updates and solicited our concerns and feedback (including being extremely generous in accepting and replying to "no-kidding" voluminous email and text messages from me). Then, inviting us to the workshop to approve the cabinets prior to applying the finish.

Finally, installation was smooth, with cabinets fitting flawlessly. Not to mention an outstanding onsite installation team, supported at all times by Steve and a host of family and other staff located at the company some 45 miles away.

NOTE: Kudos to “Al” (who reportedly has been with the company since inception) for an outstanding job measuring our kitchen for the new cabinetry.

So, we actually have an ulterior motive in presenting this 5-year review: To be sure, MB Cabinets has set the standard for construction and home improvement contractors, as well as other merchants in SLO County and elsewhere for that matter—and the bar is set extremely high.

However, to be clear, we hope to elicit some changes in SLO County—from the local “mom and pop” diner and/or hardware store to the finest restaurants along the Pacific Coast Highway to the purported most prestigious new home builder.

MB Cabinets did not do anything difficult or complicated, nor impracticable/impossible, or anything of the kind. All that the company has done is to build and maintain a reputable business providing quality customer service, i.e, honesty and integrity, product and service value, fair and reasonable pricing, on time delivery and installation, and exceptional management and administration.

The type of business that any consumer would be eager to patronize and proud to recommend to family and friends.

Honesty and integrity, fairness, and reasonableness.easy, simple, practicable, and possible for any merchant in SLO and elsewhere, regardless as to size and product or service to achieve.

And, best of all, it does not cost anything!

Wonderful company to work with. Excellent service and workmanship. Tanje was great. Very helpful and patient in helping me decide what I wanted. Installation went well even though my 1958 home was a challenge since nothing seems to be level or square. Nice not having to worry about an egg rolling off the counter anymore! Steve is also very helpful and great to work with. I called about a couple minor adjustments that were needed and Tanje was able to schedule Steve for the next day.

I love my white cabinets since my old kitchen was so dark. A contractor was here to install my appliances and complimented the paint job on the cabinets. Thank you Morro Bay Cabinet for making this part of the project go so smoothly.

Stop almost killing people on freeway please. There was no one behind me but you insisted upon swerving around and slamming on your brakes order to take the 41 exit towards Morro Bay this morning. Very scary

We remodeled our kitchen a few years ago. It came out like from a catalog, excellent quality of wood, craftsmanship, design, responsiveness to our requests combine together. Since then we remodeled our two bathrooms including vanities made by MB Cabinets - came out as our kitchen: great, beautiful.it is really a joy to see well done furniture. We highly recommend this Company.

Morro Bay Cabinets recently constructed and installed beautiful Shaker style cabinets doors in my SLO home where I have lived for 35 years. The staff, including the management, office, and installers were highly professional, timely and responsive. They even surprised me on New Year's Day with two additional doors that I had ordered! I can't praise them enough!

Apologize for the cliche', however it's a fact that words alone cannot possibly describe our complete satisfaction with Morro Bay Cabinets.

You must experience it for yourself!

First and foremost: The owner, Steve Gordon, is one of the most decent individuals we've met in the area since recently relocating to San Luis Obispo County from the East Coast. Frankly, perhaps "the" most decent!

Secondly, bar none, our new kitchen cabinets are the most beautiful cabinetry we've ever owned or experienced in any of our previous homes, i.e, 7 prior, across the country, including 3 new construction.

Our new construction home had flooded, and among other tragedies, the new and existing kitchen cabinets had to be demolished. We researched all the local area cabinet merchants - every prominent and highly reputable company - but simply could not find one to suit our needs.

We decided to extend our search and eventually found Morro Bay Cabinets (my husband describes the occasion as a true "God" send).

My husband says that he and Steve seemed to "hit it off" immediately (sincerely referring to the event simply as "kismet" - fait accompli), and the rest is history.

If you need cabinets then your search for the best cabinetmaker has just ended.

I recently updated my kitchen with new Morro Bay Cabinets. The experience was beyond my expectations. They provided great cabinet choices and colors. Once that was done, there was a few weeks to get them built and installed, and the result was fantastic. Jennifer was such a joy to work with, and the installers did a superb job.
