Morro Dunes RV Park, Morro Bay CA

Best place to camp at. Right outside the beach so you can just walk outside on the sand. The town is doughnut next to it.

Ahhhhhhh.home away from home. We don't want to go anywhere but there. Great folk and always welcoming like family when we return every month. Yes if you have an RV you need to use it more than once a year!

Location is perfect. Guessing that's the reason they have never invested any money into the park for improvements. Spaces are tight so unless you get a good sight don't expect much. There is zero grass for dogs. The borders between some of the sights are annoying. Park is very dated and kind of run down. I wish the owners would show some pride of ownership and fix up the park.

Quiet, affordable, next to the beach, lots to see and do. Within walking distance of the Embarcadero. What more could you ask?

Close to beach but had worker complain my dogs were barking inside my camper while I ran to taco bell drive thru to get food, at noon.dogs barking inside your rv for 15 min is a big deal but kids running around others spaces being loud all day and night is ok I guess.

I've been staying at Morro Dunes for 35 years. We love it there. All my family goes and we have a great time. The staff is friendly and always ready to give service to the campers that are staying at there campground. You just need to make your reservation months in advance because their sites fill up quick.

This was a great campground! Nothing fancy, but location is key. A bike ride from town, a short walk to the beach, and the weather was great. The shop has anything you need, and rv spots r a decent size. We loved it! Definitely will be back

Very nice, we called last minute on a Friday afternoon and we got there last spot. The ocean is literally the back yard to the RV park.

Sure was glad they had a spot available on short notice, but the whole not being allowed to move to another spot for another day rule I don't understand at all!
Other than that, pretty clean RV park right aside of the dunes and ocean.

I wandered in after 7pm, looking for a reserved site that ended up being in another campground. Wayne was so accommodating and helpful, it turned into a great night rather than the fiasco it could have been. The park is clean and quiet, and while some of the RV spaces are a challenge to get into, the beach access and great people make it worth it. I'll definitely be back, on purpose this time!

A million thank you to Ginger for getting us a reservation, the same day especially during a busy 4th of July weekend holiday. Truly feel so blessed. The whole staff here provided us a phenomenal service. Everyone was super friendly and very helpful. They have an amazing general store right at the office including ice service and things you may need for your RV. I forgot to bring a water hose and bought it here. The space that we got was fantastic. On the corner, next to a tree shade which was excellent for our dogs. We also had the amazing view of The Rock. Shout out to their maintenance crew. Morro Dunes is super clean. They have several clean restrooms with two location to do your laundry. The machines were very nice and modern too. There's also a stage area if you are planning a gathering, and a doggy area inside the resort. The best part for staying here, it's literally a minute walk to the gates and you're at the beach. So convenient and you can't beat the views especially sunrise and sunset. We will definitely return and bring our bikes the next time as we saw a nice trail that leads you to the downtown area with all the delicious restaurants. I highly recommend.

Staff was wonderful. They are 5 star! Right on the beach. Hookups worked. No greenery and packed in tight which is why the loss of a star. They do have fencing between the really small spaces but no privacy. Staff gave us a more private location but campers walked through our sight.not the parks fault.the other reason for loss of a star is every camp has a burn barrel which is great but with the sights so close the smoke flooded our camper all day and night which was hard on the lungs and this with all the air pollution from the wildfires made it very unpleasant.

The employees were very friendly and everything was well kept and very clean wich made for a wonderful time with my family!

This is the best place on the coast we have stayed at. Reasonable prices, spacious sites, great views and clean park. I will stay here as often as I can.

Beautiful stay to stay, although I was asked to keep music down at 4pm, saying I was playing loud all day. It was our 1st day there and we had gone to the beach 1st. I had my music playing it was NOT loud and it was for 2 1/2 hours.

Very well run park in am excellent location on the central coast. Owners/Managers are great and the park is run very efficiently. Highly recommended.

Loved just to get away and enjoy the view of the ocean. I would recommend it to anyone that goes with family and couples to stop bye and relax and enjoy the day.
