Basic RV park 1m from the restaurants and shops along Morro Bay. Spots are close together so could be crowded when full. It has easy to use full hookups. Would use again when visiting Morro.

The location of the campsite is relatively small, and parking is a bit difficult. It is relatively close to the beach, and it was only a one-night stay. The beach is beautiful, and it is an unexpected bonus!

Walking distance to the beach (1/4 mile). We were in park 2, spaces were a bit tight okay. Staff was very helpful.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. We felt safe in this park. Morro Strand RV Park is pet friendly, big-rig accommodating, close the beach, CA-1 and town.

Not with view to the strand, but near.
Not the most inspirational Camp, but has what you need.

We reserved for 4 nights. Only 4 campers in park yet they jammed us up with 3 of them. So tight I couldn’t get my little 20’ trailer in. Canceled the 3 upcoming nights that I was allowed to cancel. The promised refund never came so had to contest thru my credit card company and got most of it back. Strongly recommend that if you must, stay here only in the more expensive side which has decent room and isn’t bad.

Park 2 is too small!
Unless you have a small truck and small trailer, you can expect to park on a nearby, dark and questionable side street.
The spaces are simply too short and too narrow to park a tow vehical or towed vehical. If you are able to fit, you will have zero additional space to move around outside or open your rv or trailer door.
To be fair, I was able to break the rules and park over the red fire lane line in front of my trailer.
However I was blocking part of both neighboring spaces. For this reason I parked on the street during the day and in front of my trailer at night.
Had I know in advance I would have stayed somewhere else or at least tried not to bring thousands of dollars worth of gear in my truck bed.
The folks in the office were nice, but unable to help as they claimed to be full and couldn't move me but would add me to a list. From what I saw it was maybe 90% full at most. No one ever contacted me to offer to move me to another site. Some of the empty spaces that were longer ended up with tiny trailers in them for only part of the time, which leads me to believe no one attempted to resolve my concerns.
The website may have site lengths but widths are not listed and while they say you can park on the gravel, you can't fit if you have a full size truck.

This is a lovely little RV park! If you’re able to get a reservation I would say it’s the best in the area. The management was very accommodating. It’s also very close to the beach and is right next to a bike path that leads to the boardwalk.

The pictures on the website are nothing at all like it is. We couldn't see Morro Rock or the beach. Our view was of a power plant. The sites are very small and we had to park our truck on a road behind the rv park.

Great place to stay in your RV or trailer and enjoy Morro Bay and the entire area. Everything is close so it's an easy drive or walk for sightseeing

Small RV park. Barely enough space to move and no where to park. We have a 25ft trailer and it was a mission to get it all to fit. Was there one night and almost got robbed. Thankfully we heard them and scared them away.

Why the high reviews? Spaces are so small you need to jack knife your trailer into the space. You need to park your tow vehicle on a side street next to an industrial yard. No room near your trailer. We were never told this. Showers were a mess and no privacy changing area? Terrible. Host was rude. Location is close to town though and spaces were clean. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Stayed in the park on 18th of August. Low service level. Arrived 3: 20 pm. Office hours are only until 3 pm. Checked in online but did not receive any code to use the restrooms nor Wi-Fi. We searched both sides of the park to find a board that provided some support but only choice was to call an emergency hotline.

BEWARE! No place to park your car in some spots. Most people who pull trailers have bigger SUV’s or Trucks! There is some street parking that is very minimal and always full. We have a 26ft and the spots are very small. Also, this park is near a water waste plant that wind blows by. Pros It’s a block away from the beach and in a great location besides the water waste plant.
