The ABSOLUTE BEST Car buying experience ever! This is a long overdue review of my amazing car buying experience from Mossy Honda Lemon Grove. From the moment you walk up to enter the dealership your greeted with a warm welcome and a salesperson ready to help you find who or what you’re looking for. We never once felt like ANY of the team at LG Honda were overly GUN HO - HYPED UP trying to slam you into a deal, quite the opposite these folks are real people who are very relaxed, friendly, professional, and receptive to making you feel at ease.
My wife and I first spoke and met up with Adam "M" to look at the new 2024 CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid as I was looking to downsize from several years of driving a pickup truck that just wasn't practical for us anymore.
At first, they did not have the specific vehicle on the lot (As is the case with many other car dealerships) Nevertheless, we had some discussion about my trade-in, and we went over some numbers and very peacefully negotiated a trade-in value and purchase price and financing options. It was going to be sometime for them to get this particular vehicle in stock as it was still in transit to the dealership. The follow-up from Dallas on appointment reminders was amazing the email and telephone calls to ensure we were getting the best possible customer care was amazing “Never any pressure” just making sure that we were being treated well.
We were leaving on vacation for a few weeks and would not be available when the vehicle was scheduled to arrive at the dealership. This is where the true value of Adam "M" and Mike "C" Asst Sales Manager truly helped to make buying this vehicle a relativity for us.
Adam was extremely helpful in making sure once the vehicle arrived that he would make sure it was marked sold and tucked away until we arrived back from vacation! The vehicle arrived at the dealership 3 days after we had left, and Adam texted me pictures of our incredibly awesome 2024 Meteorite Great CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid! We kept in contact with Adam to let him know what day we would be back and cold come in a close the deal. I ended up getting sick and had an extra day delay in getting into the dealership. Adam was once again amazing by texting me the finance application so we cold have it done and approved before we got to the dealership along with everything else, he had prearranged and done so I would not have to suffer the long process of car buying once we got to the dealership. Adam truly went above and beyond on many levels!
Once we arrived it was a very short and simple process to get through the actual test drive of this amazing vehicle, getting through financing process etc.all-n-all about 2 hours and we were taking pictures, and driving home in our new CR-V! Such and amazing car!

I went last week asking for a replacement of my wheel lock. The man in the shop wasn’t nice at all. By te way he suggested me to get the whole set. Today, I bought a set of locks from that shop. The man there assured me the key would work, once and again. When I took it to the shop, they had to break the locks and I had to pay for it.
Was it necessary to lie to me instead of explaining the whole thing correctly? I could have gotten the set cheaper in Autozone.
I don’t have knowledge of cars but the mechanics in my shop agreed he had been sneaky with me
