Motel 6 Buttonwillow, CA Central reviews
14Everything Was Great But The Only Thing I Didn't Liked Was The Main Doors Of The Rooms With Gap Underneath And Cold Air Gets In!
The facts. Clean. Courteous. Inexpensive. Warm place to sleep. Everything else was just fodder.
Been coming here for work 4 times a year for the last 5 years. It’s always been a rundown truck stop motel but it’s just gotten worse and worse.
My AC/heater unit display was broken so I couldn’t read what the settings were. This forced me to try to change a setting, wait 10 minutes to find it was wrong and then try again. I just ended up wearing extra layers to bed because it was freezing.
I found multiple roaches in my room and a mouse came out of the ac/heater. That was totally ridiculous, I’ve never had that happen.
The power went out multiple times, leaving me in the dark while I was trying to check out in the early morning.
The boiler room had some sort of malfunction causing very loud banging throughout the night, sounded like someone with a pipe was bashing against my wall.
Only redeeming part of my stay was the front desk lady was very friendly and apologetic for the boiler room issue.
Will not be staying again, there are nicer places to stay 10 minutes down the road.
For the price and compared to your other options on the route, seems like a good deal. It is a motel 6 so it’s nothing special, but it was clean and the bed was firm/comfortable. There is also a lot of grassy area to walk your dog which is a big bonus. However, it is VERY noisy, if you don’t like hearing the freeway do not stay here, also very thin walls and when the doors slam it will wake you up. But for a motel 6 it’s on the better end.
Bring ear plugs if your room is facing the 5 freeway. You can literally hear every car and big rig passing by!
Hotel de passage de bord d'autoroute, bruyant, piscine sale, mauvaise odeur dans la chambre par intermittence
Higher quality room finishings than expected at this price point. I would stay here again.
Relative to price, it was a great value. Their swimming pool was much appreciated after a long hot drive! Rose bushes out front. Nicer than most Motel 6s I've stayed at.
Started out, when we arrived they said their reservation system was down, and they would only accept cash. We paid them in cash, went to our assigned room. The room looked nice and clean, but we needed a refrigerator and the one in the room had a loud piercing squeal. They gave us a second room that had a bedspread with burn holes in it, and there were cockroaches in the bathroom. They gave us a third room that was very dated, had no soap or shampoo, and no water pressure, but we were tired and bedded down for the night. The bed was fine, and the receptionist really did everything she could to accommodate us, We understand that it was not her fault that things didn't go right. But I still would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
Was reserved here but I was checking in at 7am. They had full house night before. That made it impossible for a room to be cleaned and ready? So I ended up at National 9
Itzel, is very efficient, professional and a great listener!
She is an asset to this company.
The place is very clean, hot showers,
airconditioned, and reasonably priced, great location!
Highly recomend this location
Stayed at the motel for 1 night to rest during a long drive from San Jose to San Diego. It was great for the price: clean, comfortable bed and linoleum floor, not a filthy carpet! Nice easy checkout. It is very noisy, as you can imagine being close to I5, but I always bring ear plugs.
Clean, safe, all appliances worked, no bugs, free parking, overall good on fundamentals. Matresses were stiff, wifi is slow but still usable, no free breakfast. Nearby highway is loud, I don't mind the background noise but you might. They initially put us in a room that reeked of smoke but quickly switched us to a good room without fuss
