Motel 6 Carlsbad East CA

We had to check out 2 days early due to a emergency and was refunded the full amount for those remaining two days with no questions asked, thank you staff at the motel 6 in Carlsbad! We will be returning.

Don't waste your time. It is not a good place to bring your family. Pay a little more money and stay somewhere else

DO NOT STAY HERE! During our stay, there was so much noise. Upstairs, a man and woman were fighting throwing furniture. During their screaming episode, there was a full blown party happening. I called the front office to tell them they needed to send someone to the hotel immediately to remove or warn these individuals. I was told for me to call 911, although I do not know the area around me. The noise went on until 3: 00 am. With a 12 hour drive home, we got 30 minutes of sleep. While checking out, an individual was in the front office talking badly to my mother in front of hotel staff, while they did nothing. We will be contacting cooperate today. ABSOLUTELY stay away from this hotel.

Basically a good interaction except for one problem.a room reserved and booked for two persons came with only one chair.requested a second chair from the front desk.was informed that I could not have a chair unless I rented the chair for $10.

UPDATE: The housekeeper Julie has been very helpful.if it wasn't for her I probably would not renew for another night. The chair issue is very frustrating. I'm sitting on a stack of three pillows trying to use my laptop computer.it's affecting my productivity.and I believe my work is very important.this is a loss to all people.

Always pretty satisfied with my stay at this facility. This time there was a family with younger kids running around screaming at around 7: 00a. Too early for that kind of noise when trying to get your day started.

The staff are always friendly and I'm left with a personal satisfaction of feeling well taking care of as well as my needs being completely addressed.

It's a Motel 6.but not the worst! We upgraded to a suite and it was so fun! It's huge and the staff were so friendly and accommodating!

Room was clean and did not have that musty smell that a lot of hotel rooms have. We stayed 2 nights and were very comfortable. The only thing that I found off putting was the fact that the sign out front said $69.99 per night but we were paying almost twice that per night. The girl at the desk said we paid more because we mad our reservations through the Motel 6 website and we had 2 people in the room. If you like a soft bed, beware, these are defiantly on the firm side.

Bed had a stain. There was two dirty towels in bathroom. Gum stuck on floor in two spots.
Staff was friendly and gave extra towels and pillows but I always stay at motel 6 and was disappointed by this one. Only picked because it was close to legoland. I usually have no issues but carlsbad east was not to our standards. Should have played extra 100 for down the street

I really enjoyed my stay in Carlsbad motel 6. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and it was quiet and peaceful.

The room was overly perfumed, needs major updates in the bathroom, and towels are too small and rough. Floor felt dirty and loose hairs in the shower. Also, the beds were super uncomfortable that we barely could sleep through the night on our 2 night stay. Just a place to crash to be near Legoland.

While the hotel was extremely accommodating, when we showed up, our room did not have any sheets o do uan the beds or cases on the pillows. We were upgraded to a suite to make up for the mistake, but it involved a lot of shuffling at 10: 00pm while we were tired and a bed was a bed and a room a room. So A+ in terms of customer service but C for having their stuff together initially.

The overall cleanliness of the room was pretty good. One of the beds was very hard. We stayed several nights and due to having pets we did not have room service clean the beds but we asked for sheets and made them our selves. The bed was stained all over and was not something I wanted to sleep on again. The bath tub did not have a plug for kids to take a bath. The cleaning ladies were very helpful and very nice.the night crew was unable to get us any extra towels or blankets.

You get what you pay for. Beds where not comfy. The bathroom was super small. I liked it had a/c but didn't like the smell the a/c made wich made the room smell. Wish they had a fridge in the room. Everything is worn out looks old and not clean. I've stayed at other motel 6 and this was by far the worst.

We booked this hotel because it offered free WiFi.well it did not work. Also, the room was not clean, there was candy on the floor by the bed and the bath tub and toilet was visibly dirty, I had to clean the tub myself before my kids could take a bath. I was very disappointed considering the location and the high price of the room.

The machine that dispenses laundry detergent was out of order for my entire stay and although housekeeping changed beds and towels daily the floors were not swept and mopped especially under the beds.

We Always use motel 6 Carlsbad East! Its super convenient and close to many stores and places to eat! Lego land is also very closeand easy to get to from motel 6! The rooms are always clean and staff is friendly.

Would have gone higher, but there was hair all over the bathroom walls, a big crack in the shower and no lamp shade on one of the lamps on the wall. The front desk clerk was half asleep when I checked in at 8: 30 PM.
