Motel 6 Carpinteria, CA - Santa Barbara - South

Don’t recommend it if staying more then one night. I staid more then 3 nights and our room was not even cleaned no toilet paper Had trash for 3 days. We even left in the mornings so our room would get clean, we were never told that our room would not be cleaned

It took 10 or 15 minutes to find someone after seeing him through the sliding window and because i was saying hello really loud he said he would not rent me a room! Isn't there job to help people? Why would they let someone just stand there so long? I am on disability for my back! Don't go there if you are missed up!

Awful customer service.nobody was at the front desk when I first arrived. I eventually heard someone talking on the phone in the other room and had to knock on the counter in order to receive service; the employee acted as if I'd inconvenienced him by attempting to check-in.not only that, he was incredibly rude and the entire interaction was awkward and uncomfortable. Will never stay there again.

Stayed in room 135. Mattress needs to be replaced. Toilet very loud when flushing, strange mechanism in tank Thermostat hard to set for a comfortable temp. Laundry was closed becaused all machines were broken.

$224 for motel 6! My hotel staying days are over. Do they offer cont breakfast or even coffee for that price? No! Do they even provide shampoo? No! It’s still the same motel 6 it was 30 yrs ago but now $200 a night plus those extra fees. No wonder sales and rentals of RVs have gone up. People don’t allow yourselves to be ripped off! Refuse to go along with these ridiculous prices! MBryan

Let’s start with condescending and entitled. This is how the so-called manager could be described. Women might want to avoid this hotel as the management treated every one with a heavy voice of misogyny. Every women I saw him interact with he treated them with disrespect and used he size to intimidated. So much so he thought he should call me, the husband and tell me that if I didn’t get my wife in-line with how he should be treated that he would call the cops on us and have us removed. We left! To say the customer service was lacking is actually using too good of a term. Avoid! This Motel6 is not observing any Covid protocols. My wife asked why he was not wearing a mask and he responded with “you can keep wondering why”. When watching maids clean rooms no sanitizing could be seen.

Nicer Motel 6. Clean rooms, common areas. No "undesirables" hanging around. Quiet. Easy access to freeway. BUT was charged $20 more for the exact same room as the woman ahead of me in line. Both 2 bed room, senior discount, for one night. Clerk refused to give me the same rate.

Room was fine, everything seemed good except the internet was horrible.
Won't be back if they cannot provide decent connection.

Horrible service. They wanted me to stay in a smoking room. They said I had to wait 1 night to move. When I tried to leave the hotel they told it was over 30 minutes I couldn't leave unless I pay the 1st night. This is why I booked through a 3rd party I called them and it got it taken care of. Moved hotels and didn't have to pay for 20 minutes I was there. The rooms were disgusting like house keeping didn't exist

Why can't I leave ZERO stars? Worst stay ever! Filthy and disgusting. Front desk check-in a disaster You guys should be ashamed of yourselves for this motel. I never write reviews, but just couldn't let this one go. My young daughter cried when she saw the all the hair in the toilet and shower. I had to drive her to iHop to use the restroom.

The rooms aren’t bad but they’re really not air conditioned or at least I couldn’t find the climate control and they also don’t have refrigerators.

This place is awful. I seen that it was a problem getting what you book on the ratings but I came anyway cause it was affordable. I wish I would've stayed next door and paid an extra hundred it's old, broke down, can't even breathe in here with the a/c on. The people upstairs sound like they're coming through the roof. I called the front desk & they didn't do nothing about it, so loud, my toddler keeps waking up from it. Not to mention I can't even shower cause my handicap room was given away. I even called to confirm it on my way here and they still gave it away. Definitely not family friendly or for people with disabilities- pay attention to the bad reviews people, they are here for a reason!

We stayed a week, needed clean place to sleep, shower, leave dog there occasionally. Usually stay in a nicer place but we were not in room much so this worked great.

First time staying in a Motel 6 paid $300 for 1 night my fault for booking last minute. Room was super small outdated. Bed had the thinnest blanket. Never again well I stay here or in any of Motel 6

The room was very clean. Super basic accommodations. There was a lot of noise from other guests coming through the walls and ceiling.
