Motel 6 Crescent City, CA reviews
8Tracy, Dawn, and Sheryl made all of the difference at this lovely Motel 6. The room was clean and spotless. They are dog friendly and the hotel is located right in the heart of the city. I can’t thank you all enough for the wonderful time. Definitely will come back here when I return!
It is a Motel 6. It is inexpensive, comfortable (I bring an extra blanket when I travel) basic and the dogs stay free. The ocean is nearby. There was a refrigerator in the room.
I enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean but I was offered no service the 4 evenings I stayed. This has to be one of the noisiest motels I think I've ever stayed in in my life though and I am not talking road noise. Every night I was here I could hear every single footstep in the room above me. Tonight I called the front desk and they said maybe they're putting up a dog kennel or something. I don't know but it sure is loud. Highly recommend staying on the second floor if you stay here.
There are plenty of places to eat nearby and the beach is super close.
I personally would not stay here again because I have a dog who cannot walk upstairs so I could not get a second floor room. I would never ever stay in a first floor room here again. This is absolutely misery. I wish I could record the noise and post it here. Omg.
On the plus side it gets quiet by at least midnight so I will get some sleep eventually.
Clean room, but needs a little touch up. Very helpful and friendly staff. BONUS - it’s the only hotel in Crescent City that allows dogs. We travel with our chihuahua, so that’s a must.
I spent 1 night here as I normally do every few months. But this time wasn't so great. There was no power no hot water. Being left in the dark and having to shower in cold water and still having to pay full price wasn't worth it at all. I've always had a great experience here except this one time. I hope in the future they can find way to accommodate the guests that have stayed there during this difficult time.
They wash the top sheet daily! We stayed a couple nights waiting for a rental car.
So we saw the flip of the place. They work hard here.
Room 205 was large 2 bed upstairs window facing the side road and jetty instead of the parking lot was awesome.
Transit is close by but we didn’t have anyone sketch hanging out on property. Which is really nice.
Cops were there from a visitor who let their kid walk out into the parking lot unattended.
There was a tiny view of the bay.
It's pretty quiet and affordable.
